NFL Off Topic 2012
I'm gonna give him 1st ballot HOF. So what if I'm being a homer lol. Dude was a playmaker on that defense every year it was great. He made every kind of play you could need and at crucial moments (sacks, ints, fumbles). His stats also speak for him.Last edited by TheShizNo1; 05-08-2013, 05:51 PM.Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya

I can actually see him getting in on the first attempt. Although this would depend on who else is on the ballot, I definitely think he's a sure fire HOFer.#RespectTheCultureComment

Ronde Barber by the numbers
By Pat Yasinskas | May 8, 2013 6:26 PM
With the news that Tampa Bay defensive back Ronde Barber is retiring, let’s turn to ESPN Stats & Information to put this spectacular career into some numerical perspective.
Barber retires with a streak of 215 straight starts. That was the longest active streak in the NFL. It also was the longest streak by a defensive player since the AFL-NFL merger. Barber last missed a start in Week 10 of the 1999 season.
Barber’s starting streak is the third longest by any player to end his career since the merger. Only offensive linemen Bruce Matthews (229) and Will Shields (223) were on longer streaks to end their careers.
Barber was selected to five Pro Bowls and named first-team All-Pro by the Associated Press three times.
Since sacks became an official statistic in 1982, Barber is the only player to record at least 20 sacks and 40 interceptions. He had 28 sacks and 47 interceptions.
Barber’s 12 defensive touchdowns tie him with Charles Woodson and Aeneas Williams for third in NFL history. Rod Woodson and Darren Sharper are tied for first with 13.Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
Congrats to a great career. I think he's a HOFer. I'm not sure if he's 1st ballot or not but he'll get in relatively quickly compared to other guys who've had to wait.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
The solution to that problem is to not watch ESPN.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
