I'm in LA, so I'm not that plugged in to Redskins news, but given the situation with Kubiak, I expect Denver to do everything they can to keep Wade. The continuity will definitely help, because I don't see the AFCW getting any easier next year.

Of course, Washington is likely willing to pay more than Denver, but it might be easier to try and get Rex Ryan (who I do believe has value as a coordinator, though I'd rather have Phillips) if you want to make a splash.

Dude is a **** up. Pretty sure he's been suspended more then he's played in his short career. He could be a player too but he can't stay off whatever keeps popping his results.

Regarding ratings: As much as I hate the Cowboys you can't deny that they helped buoy the sagging prime time ratings down the stretch this year but I maintain that if you over expose them on national TV like that it WILL get old.
Depends on if they win. I don't mean those games though, I mean have playoff success.

If they become similar to the Bengals people will get tired real quick.

Joe Arrigio of Scout.com says Chargers may get 2 more years to work things out in SD, and league will increase their contribution to stadium efforts. In exchange for giving up their right to LA the Raiders will have a smoother path to Vegas and will be broadcast in LA as a 2nd home team for those 2 years.

If things don't work out, the team would move in 2 years, rebranding in LA and leaving the Chargers colors and records in San Diego.

Davis is committed to Vegas, because then he'll have that AND LA. Especially if he's set up as the 2nd home team there on TV on top of existing support while they move to Vegas.

Joe also says a renovation to Sam Boyd (ick) could have the Raiders in Vegas as early as 2018 to prevent an uglier lame duck situation in Oakland.

Raiders and Vegas should be wrapped up for years before the fate of the Chargers is ultimately determined.

End result of all of this will probably 2 new stadiums by 2019, and one in San Diego shortly after.

Well, at least Raiders will have a different connotation being in Vegas. Y'know, raiding the money of tourists LOL.

Personally I think that's bound for failure in a big way.

The new Randy Gregory suspension stems from something that happened during his last suspension. It's unfortunately not surprising to anyone in tune with the Cowboys, and I have to imagine we'll be drafting his replacement next April because he's got to be close to running out of rope as a member of the Dallas Cowboys active roster.

Fortunately, while he's suspended he doesn't count against the roster, so he can still have some very limited involvement with the team and the team can continue to provide him with whatever kind of support net they are able.

He's reportedly got mental health issues and uses marijuana as a coping mechanism.

That circumstance doesn't make him above the league rules or above consequence for violating those rules, not at all. He's also obviously an extreme longshot to really have a meaningful NFL career at this point. However, a little human empathy for his plight might be nice.

If anyone who was ever diagnosed with mental illness which resulted in multiple major life set-backs is a ****-up, then hell, I'm no better than Randy Gregory.

Meanwhile, Tyrod Taylor apparently is having "elective" surgery to fix a groin injury. ("Elective" because that's how the Bills referred to it in their press release about the matter).

This is important because he has a $27.5M injury guarantee in his contract if he can't pass a physical by the fourth day of the 2017-18 league year, March 11. If the Bills try to cut Tyrod before he attempts such a physical, that will likely trigger a legal battle between the NFLPA and the Bills for Tyrod's legal right to that money.

I think doing this demonstrates the NFL's commitment to that market, while they probably don't expect to return to Oakland and a large number of fans will go to Vegas for games as they do now to Oakland now.
