There has to be more to the story than that blown call...I mean, we see zebras miss calls EVERY week and they don't get fired. Heck, this isn't even the most egregious one we've seen in recent years. Just seems odd...he must have a history of poor performance.

If you read any of the articles about this, his firing had little to do with the false start he missed and everything to do with consistently missing/messing up calls and grading out poorly.

Of course, the NFLRA is challenging the decision through the grievance process.

Well, I did read a few articles and didn't find much, except a statement from an anonymous NFL source who said it was about "overall performance" and not this one missed call. That makes sense...but I still find this strange.

I don't know how many here would care about this, but the brother of Pat Bowlen is suing the Broncos to disassemble the trust that Pat put together to handle the transition of ownership within the Bowlen family.

It's been big news out here and is an interesting story on the non-football side of things

Saw an ad while using OS on tapatalk which had me wondering. If a female kicker or punter was better than NFL caliber kickers/punters, would a team sign her?

With all the fake "we love women" NFL propaganda, I'd say absolutely. I mean the league already allowed a woman to jump ahead of several more qualified men to become an official so they'd jump at the chance for more of that PR.

Plus, the NHL already did it so why not?

For the past 3 weeks now Jalen Ramsey hasn't had much to say has he guys? What happened to all that mouthing & trash talk that was going on during the preseason & the 1st few games to start the season? He's being ridiculous! He is being rude to ALL media now & has finally just about shut up though.

I love Ramsey as a football player on the field but off-the-field this man gets on my everlasting nerves with his antics. Way worse than the antics of OBJ. I can't believe he's actually at a loss for words as much as he was running that spout. LOL!

I feel like they could've gone the whole year with Hue and look for the replacement in the offseason. Doing this in midstream with a rookie QB isn't exactly the best move IMO. It's not like the Browns had legit expectations to make the playoffs. (Yes I know some have called them a darkhorse, even me but still....)
