They’re not a win now team regardless of how bad the Division is right now, so if that’s the case then we should be questioning the hire.

He’s not going to protect Haskins but was quick to say that there was no competition for the job even before camp started.

At this point, I’d be surprised if Alex isn’t starting before the end of the season.

Note: Ron is the only good thing (plus the defense [at times], McLaurin & Antonio Gibson) in this organization. The man truly is a warrior.

You probably haven't been paying as close of attention as us WFT fans which is understandable. Who would want to watch this team willingly.

But yeah, a lot of it is absolutely on Ron and he's been suspect with his decision making in literally every game. A lot of hype came after beating Philly after trailing by 17 at the half but we see what Philly is, a bad team with a huge injury crisis.

From not calling timeouts to not even give Haskins a shot at running some needed snaps the two games before, to terrible play calling (more of that is on his OC Scott Turner though) to continuing to play guys like our safety Apke who has been nothing but a liability back there, to cutting your starting RB right before the season.

He said he wanted to "test" Haskins on the 4th and goal call from the 13, down 18 vs the Ravens. Kick the damn FG and cut it to 2 possessions instead of going for a very low % chance to convert on 4th and goal from the damn 13! The he gets mad at Haskins for not throwing it into the end zone when the play design was beyond trash. Ravens drop 8 and we send 2 guys into the endzone, RB on a flair out, send the far left WR on a curl, and another WR to the right on a 7-8 yd out. If he throws it into the endzone it gets picked and he'll probably throw Haskins under the bus again for that.

Sure, Haskins hasn't been great by any means but our line is suspect and outside of Terry, there are no legit weapons in the passing game. Gibson looks promising but he's still learning the RB position. We're benching Haskins for a proven bum in Kyle Allen. A guy who was benched twice in college and basically given up on by Carolina in favor of Bridgewater. Then to name Alex Smith as the backup when he can't even walk without a limp.

Look...I'm sure the cancer is taking a toll on him and I truly feel for him. An NFL Coaching gig is one of the most demanding in sports so I can only imagine how he's feeling physically but it doesn't give him a pass for what was a suspect hire to begin with and a guy that's done nothing but throw doubt in his QBs mind since Day 1.

NFL/NFLPA have opened an investigation into the Patriots COVID procedures similar to what is going on w/ the Titans.

Unlike the Titans, haven't seen any suggestions of breach of protocol. Reportedly it's being investigated if Titans players worked out together while their facilities were closed, which might be attributed to the more recent positive tests.

If a team gets caught breaking these protocols, there should be serious consequences here.

Forfeit a game, lose draft pick(s), something to hold them accountable.

I’m not in favor of forfeits but am all for punishment for the crime.

The thing with forfeits is your possibly punishing other teams by issuing forfeits.

Teams that maybe wouldn’t likely get a win without a forfeit (or the other way around) could have a ripple affect across the league that hurts other teams come playoff time. I’m all for punishing the offending team if there is an egregious breach (as this one appears to be) but not other teams who had nothing to do with it.

I'd kinda like to see them play as well.

Only have 40 healthy players.... tough ish!!! No exemptions for you.

Problem with that is though, what if all their positive cases haven't come to fruition yet?

… I hope the League absolutely crushes them. They send a clear and loud message so no other team dares go down the same road.

The game wasn’t yet postponed when they were filmed working out. It was the first day after their facility was shut down when they were still under the impression the Steelers game was still on.

That said, they should be held accountable for that.

I knew once multiple teams had positive tests they needed to suspend the week and take a 2-3 week break. Then make a bubble for each team.

Now Mahomes was face to face with the guy who tested positive during Monday night.

I'm all for coming down hard on them, but it's hard to track when they go home everyday. They could get it anywhere. Unless there is evidence from what they were doing, you can't punish them without them being in a bubble first.

Covid is going on. How the NFL thought they were going to be able to safely play games with all this close contact is mind boggling. After Mondays game against the Pats Mahomes and other Chiefs players were all shaking hands and chatting with Pats players. Stand by for the announcement that Chiefs are testing positive in the next 5 to 10 days. This season is almost over.

There is another Titans’ player positive test this morning and the inconclusive positive test from yesterday is now a confirmed positive, per source. The Titans’ facility remains closed and the prohibition on in person activities continues.
