The Athletic Football show did a whole hour long show on offensive line technique. Loved it.

                Is Todd Gurley a HOF’er?

It’s the Terrell Davis argument. The numbers are kinda close. No hardware but maybe there could have been if Gurley is healthy against NE.

I just saw that Gurley hasn’t played since his age-26 season in 2020. Crazy how quick the career of a RB is. These guys get forgotten so quick.

No. Not even close for me. Apparently, not close for Pro Football Reference either.

they'll have to adjust the RB formula going forward because damn

why is Curtis Martin rated so low?

I was gonna say, if the league is gonna make the decision to cycle out these RBs so quickly, the criteria for a HoF RB is going to have to be adjusted to get any representation from the modern game going forward. The current average for HoFers is 10 seasons as a starter, 6 pro bowls, 3 first team all-pro, 10,000 yards rushing.

Yeah because now, unless they're elite, once a RB turns 27, their looking to get rid of them. There's even reports that Vikings might cut Dalvin Cook if they can't trade him because of his $10M cap hit. He's still productive, but that's how it is for a RB nowadays.

Would you rather have Dalvin Cook(likely around $8M if cut) or have Bijan Robinson or Gibbs. I would rather have the younger guy honestly

Here’s a timeline of his Reign of Terror over the last 24 years:

Dan Snyder purchased one of the NFL's marquee franchises in 1999. Twenty-four years later, and with the team up for sale, he leaves a legacy of on-field futility and off-field scandal.

Between knowing/remember all of these and hearing all the DC Sports Talk folks talking about this as well, Snyder may have a case for being the worst owner in all sports in this century.

There are only 9 tight ends in the hall of fame, and only 4 more on pace to join them. Some positions just don't get a lot of HOF looks, and RB is trending in that direction.

Yeah, if they're deemed not that important by the game, then they don't need to be represented.
