But, for teams like Cincinnati and Dallas, you have to pay your guys before the markets booms. Now Parsons is going to want the same amount. Like waiting with Dak, they had to set the market. Chase is going to want to be highest paid WR. If you know you have those players apart of your future, it's best to pay them asap before you have to set the new market high

Makes trading for Hendrickson something a team have to weigh all their options. Not only would they have to trade a 2nd round pick or more, also would have to give a similar extension as well

Steelers should have got Watt done earlier.

It's like with the Zach Baun deal with the Eagles. Many fans thought they should've gave him a deal earlier in the year when it was obvious he was outperforming that contract. But, there were alot of key guys up for a deal, so they couldn't single out Baun

Always pay your guys a year before you have no choice but to pay top value

This exactly, with Crosby being the highest paid for what?..3-4 days, now Garrett takes over that position (guess he didn't want to go to a contender after all), this definitely does not bode well for Watt, hell they don't even have a starting QB on the roster.
People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.

Anywho - Davante Adams to the Rams on a two-year deal.

DK Metcalf to the Steelers for a 2nd and he gets a 5/$150 million contract, not sure if it's an extension or just a new deal

Until it's done, it's not done, but all signs point to Fields. I'm operating under that assumption until it becomes impossible.

I hope so, I still have a lot of belief he can be a really good QB1 in the NFL. He’d have weapons-galore at his disposal.

Same, except about Rudolph, particularly if what Garrett alleged was true.

I'll just say that with all of the players on the field, all of the cameras, and all of the mics (even more being a Thursday Night game) not one shred of evidence supporting Garrett's claim ever emerged.

Steelers actually have some decent cap room this year, I like it. Saw some talk about maybe trading Pickens away. Unless you can get a decent pick, I'd rather keep him. DK on one side, Pickens on the other. Austin came on last year in the slow. Now you just have to find a QB to throw it to them .

                        Steelers now have a 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6 and two 7s.

Darnold signs with Seattle. 3 years under $40M.

Fields to the Jets 2 year

I liked Fields the little bit I saw of him last year. Don't blame him for not wanting to get benched again and for probably getting more than the Steelers would pay him.

I really, really, really don't want Rodgers.

I still don't think Garrett is coming to your party.
But it doesn't hurt to try.

I agree 100% with this, makes sense...replace a 36 year old with an even older QB at 41 behind a line that cannot pass block for crap.

Oh yeah, almost forgot...the Eagles traded Pickett back to the AFC North, welcome to Cleveland my boy...lmao
