Don’t really think there wouldn’t have been a situation where they didn’t have one of the worst rosters/teams in the league in Year 1.

The bigger crime is making Ryan Poles look like a competent GM.

I wonder what the roster would have been had they kept Wilks. I don't think they would have traded up and maybe stuck with Darnold, kept their identity from the end of last year, and would be competitive this year.

Just hard to believe how dysfunctional they are

Most fans of the Panthers wanted to keep Wilks. He is from here and well liked. He did an excellent job to finish last season. Yes, he is a defensive guy, but he should have had the opportunity to find an offensive guru to take over the offense.

But no, Tepper wanted a flashy Offensive coach (which Reich never was) and alienated the fandom further by not giving Wilks the chance.

I also feel like they should have sat Young this season, let him learn, and let Dalton run the offense. But again, Dalton doesnt sell tickets or Jersey sales, but Young hasnt been winning games and seems to lost all confidence at this point.

I am not hopeful for the Panthers future. We dont even have a 1st round pick (which would have probably been #1) next year. I feel like its going to take at least 4-5 years for this team to be in position to have a winning season, which is sad.

Lol Rodgers bout to attempt that comeback.

Jets opened up the window for him to practice.

I’ve been lowkey rooting for the Jets to stay in so we can see the Rodgers comeback. That loss on Black Friday made it pretty unrealistic though. They probably need to win out and have most everything break their way in other games a few times over the next few weeks. I probably wouldn’t risk rushing back for a minuscule chance at the playoffs but the whole mystique around Rodgers and his presence with the Jets, he may do it anyway. I saw he said it would depend on health and playoff odds. Not sure if he added a caveat to how high those odds have to be.

The first-ever Monday Night Football flex: the NFL is flexing Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce off of Monday Night Football in Week 15, replacing the Dec. 18 Chiefs at Patriots game with Eagles at Seahawks.
Eagles now will have three consecutive standalone games from Weeks 14-16:

They're playing really well in it. Derrick Brown has been a monster and the DBs are performing despite all of the injuries.

Evero is a magician with what he's been able to get that defense to do just about every week

If only they could get rid of "Always an excuse" Dante Jackson. I have seen this guy miss countless tackles, get burned on probably 80-90% of pass plays, and then when the game gets too tough, he always gets injured.

Yeah he's annoying. Sometimes he plays great and others he looks completely lost. Tough L when they chose him over Gilmore a couple years ago.
