I like how Iowa and the Steelers have the same uni scheme, both boring offenses, both fired OC mid season, and both still have winning records, they both do it every single year (well, minus the firing, since Pitt hasn't done it in 82 years and Iowa had to fire their own nepotism bum), but still, pretty cool coincidences

Washington fired Jack Del Rio. Defense hasn't been good. But don't know what they expect when they trade away their best pass rushers.
It feels inevitable that Rivera will be fired after the season. Hasn't done anything as the coach there. Their division title they won was because the NFC East was horrible that year and Eagles threw that last game against them.Last edited by illwill10; 11-24-2023, 12:24 PM.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Setting up for Eric B to take over for Rivera for a few games or a full house cleanse, probably the latter. Maybe both.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

This is as close to a pregame crowd as I’ve ever seen a pregame group be. Looks 50/50 Dolphins/Jets (probably on purpose). Loud. This is like college gamedayNHL - Philadelphia Flyers

Re: NFL Off Topic
But this may up being his one and only shot at it. Just know if it goes wrong, he won’t have to worry about getting any more HC interviews anymore. Not that he was getting them anyway.#RespectTheCultureComment

Right but that’s why I said anymore.
Because he went from being one of THE top candidates to not being one at all and nobody really understood why. He didn’t get any last offseason and I doubt he’ll get any other interviews this offseason outside of DC.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Not sure if Rivera will get fired in season. They have 5 games left. They have a couple 4-6 opponents, but both(Rams and Jets) are still fighting for a wildcard spot. Their other 3 opponents are Dolphins, 49ers, and Cowboys. So they don't have an easy end of season. If they lose the next 2, then I think they might pull the trigger and fire Rivera. I only really see them firing Rivera if they want to give EB a few games as the interim HCComment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Yeah there needs to be a story about why he has never gotten a HC job after how many interviews he's had

Just wait til the Lions get smoked twice by the Vikings and once by the Cowboys in the final three weeks and see what happens with Aaron Glenn
