    I'm no lawyer, but suing because someone won't talk to you and called you fake in a text message doesn't seem like the strongest case.

    But the more you read the story and the more you see generic culture war soundbite bull**** and you can tell this isn't meant to be a serious lawsuit. They just want the publicity from filing it.

        The Jets cannot trot Zach out there this week. They cannot, can they?

        Although, I guess it's not going to matter with KC coming in.

          You seen their OLine? Don’t matter who they put out there at Qb as long as their line is a mess.

          That would’ve been the case when Rodgers was out there too.

            It seems like a bogus lawsuit filed as either a cash grab or meant for publicity. I'm sure a billionaire like Harris and a very wealthy person like Magic Johnson have enough money to get this thing thrown out, Jeebs. [emoji38]

                Yeah, that looks more politically driven than anything based in law. As a result be mindful of how far you discuss it here, please.

                Actual facts are just kind of absurd when they do bother to bring them up, for example.
                “We’ll take this as far as it needs to go because for NAGA, this is their identity,” LaVeglia said. “This is their history. If the Redskins image and logo is erased, their history is erased and we have a problem.”

                Um, history doesn't work like that.

                  As someone who knows and has been thru it. It ain't cheap to start one. That's what I'm saying. Trying to get a motion to dismiss is a long and expensive process. The worst part is that even if it gets dismissed. It can get appealed in higher courts. Like I said it ain't cheap.

                    That's why it's cheaper to just settle, pay them off, and have them sign a NDA.

                      That's not always the case. The biggest things in these types of situations are egos. That's on both sides. But you're right. Settle and save that money.

                              I don't think he's wrong about Wilson. Part of me wants to say that is not the most QB friendly offense. But then.. Brock Purdy.. Jimmy G got to a Super Bowl... but again, the plan was to have Wilson sit this year.

                                How about a QB who's competent? Even with that, the Jets have a shot at the playoffs, because they do have talent. Wilson doesn't belong on an NFL field...sticking with him is telling the other players the season is over. Saleh's going to lose the locker room (if he hasn't already). I read this quote from Rich Cimini;

                                “[Saleh is] coming off as a Zach apologist, and that doesn’t play well in the locker room,” Cimini said on his podcast. “The defense, in particular, is not happy. … This defense knows that if any other player were performing his job the way Wilson is performing his, that player would be benched. Trust me, there’s tension in that locker room.”

                                This epic fail falls on the GM for...should have signed a solid backup during the off-season.
