Last year, we almost had no games. I'm happy to know football will be starting in time this year. Lack of Hall of Fame game threw the rest of my summer offLast edited by TheShizNo1; 06-02-2012, 02:28 PM.Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya

Meaningless games > No games, as I always say.
Plus, that and Thursday Night Football are the only times a year NFL Network is useful.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
Jacksonville Jaguars first-round draft pick receiver Justin Blackmon was arrested on an aggravated DUI charge Sunday after authorities in Oklahoma said he had three times the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
Receiver Justin Blackmon, picked fifth overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars in April's draft, was arrested for aggravated DUI early Sunday in Stillwater, Okla., the Tulsa World reported.
The 22-year-old Blackmon was booked into the Payne County Jail at 10 a.m. CT, the newspaper reported. Under Oklahoma law, a driver's blood alcohol level must be .15 or higher to be charged with aggravated DUI.
It is the second DUI arrest for the former Oklahoma State star, who also was arrested in 2010 in Texas on a misdemeanor DUI charge. He was suspended one game by Oklahoma State as a result of that arrest.Aaron

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
You have the $$, just pay for a taxi or your own driver. Always stupid how these stars/athletes get busted for DUISaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

So when will the NFL (and other major leagues) do something about the athletes continually being stupid with DUI
I know that every team has a program that will basically pick you up/provide a driver if a play calls them.
As far as punishment not sure why this isn't treated more severely. You get two DUI's in the Navy you are booted from the service no matter how great of a sailor you are. Seen a guy that was #1 E-6 of an entire command get the boot for a second DUI.

He blew 3x the legal limit, 0.24
Agree that DUIs by NFL players shoud be exponentially harsher. Endangering lives should be treated worse than cheating... As in 1st offense 8 games and then a year per repeat offense level of punishment. Any peoperty damage or injuries inflicted skips the 8 months and starts with an indefinite suspension of at least 1 year. No need to outline it worse than that as multiple 1-year offenses would be essentially career ending.
