Texan fans getting heat for cheering Matt Schaub injury...I really dont see why everyone is making a big deal abou this. Its just like any other teams fans showing there displeasure for there performance. Im sure putting beer in everyones hands and your team getting killed by the Rams doesnt help
    atleast..Its not Delaware

Because its one of the worst things fans can do. Booing a man who is out there to entertain you and is injured. Philly fans at the Vet cheering while Michael Irvin lay motionless on the turf with a broken neck, which is not only career threatening but life threatening depending on the severity. Its worse when its the home team. Not liking Schaub is one things, going to his house, cheering when he gets hurt? Nah, that is way to far.

The Chiefs should prove they're serious about making a deep playoff run by bringing back Tony Gonzalez.

Can sports writers please stop with the Gonzales-to-Chiefs trade talk? With the Falcons sputtering on offense and Julio Jones out for the year, why in the hell would a team trade away one of their most consistent offensive weapons to a team that is 6-0? What would the Falcons gain? A low-round draft pick that will be at the bottom of the round? And for what, a feel good story? Sorry, that's not how the NFL works, people.

If they're out of playoff contention, why keep him and have him retire and get nothing out of it? The only reason he came back is for a ring. I don't see why keeping him helps Atlanta if they're not going to the playoffs and he's not coming back next year.

He doesn't want to leave that's why. It would be an embarrassment to trade away one of your best players, who only came back to help you win especially when he doesn't want to be traded.

Ok that's fine then. My post was going off of Gonzalez coming back for the ring, but if he doesn't want to leave then he's earned that right not to.

If it's true that Gonzalez doesn't want to be traded than you have to respect that. He likes it in the ATL and he isn't being a mercenary and trying to get a ring somewhere else.

                It's a commendable thing really.

I find it hilarious that they booed Schaub, only to watch Yates come in and throw a pick-6.

                        Because it's ****ing disgusting.

If I wanted to root for a team that had brainless, dirty, piece of **** fans, I'd have had my choice of plenty that already exist.

That's classless, dirty, disgusting, unintelligent garbage, and frankly I'm GLAD Yates came in and threw a pick-six too, just to shut the ****ers who did that up. Oh, but they won't shut up. They won't. Because they'll never learn. They're the perpetually insatiable. They're the uneducated and ignorant. They're the ones that'll give this fanbase a bad reputation for those who look in from the outside. They're the ones that'll make everyone talk about these dumb incidents rather than how the Texans are solid, classy organization by design. And thank goodness the leaders on this team called them out on it.

I don't want to root for a team that has constant distractions.

That's the LAST thing I want. Truly, truly, truly angering.

I thought I was on Twitter for a second after reading Matrix's last post.

Turns out.. I'm just in the NFL OT thread

Nobody on OS can rant like Matrix!

I agree, that was a classless move on the part of the Houston fans. There's no way one can defend what they did by cheering Shaub's injury like that.

I feel like the way a lot of Texans fans are acting is par for the course for teams that struggle for a lot of years in a row and then finally get good. There's a lot of people filling Reliant Stadium that weren't there or didn't care three or four years ago. Texans fans went almost 10 years watching their team suck year in and year out and apparently they completely forgot about all those years.

But it happens with every fanbase. There were a small minority of Steelers fans that were saying they needed to replace Ben after the first two games.
