I'm talking broadcast not condensed or coaches cam.

I'm not sure. I think the Packers pride themselves on that, because they have a "How They Were Built" section on their website and the few other sites I've looked at recently don't have that.

You're better off just going to Youtube or to your team's webpage where they post videos of any score/big play by them.

I wish the NFL trade deadline was exciting like other sports. NBA, MLB, and NHL trade deadlines are practically holidays for me, it's so exciting. But the biggest sport of them all has basically no action.

I feel like the trade deadlines in hockey and baseball have sucked recently. It is a fun time though, always cool to see who's going where and the ramifications.

Why would you want to watch a 1-hour game (15-minutes x 4 quarters) into a 35 minute event. Any less than 1-hour and I'd be a bit miffed.

Football games have a lot of fluff; we already know about the excessive commercials, and a 15 minute halftime segment, but there's also Huddle breaks, timeouts, stoppages for penalty explanations, reviews, and chain measurements.

Sometimes you just need to cut through all of that and get to the real meat and potatoes of the actual plays being run, especially if you're going back and re-watching a game or want to learn about teams that you don't follow much.

My philosophy for Football watching enjoyment:
Sunday any other game day - watch your favorite team and any other games in the Full broadcast version, just sit back, relax and enjoy; and use Commercials, halftime to re-supply on Food, and drinks, and bathroom breaks.

If you go back and re-watch a game during a non gameday day. Watch the cut up condensed version.

                        Several reasons:
-You actually want to watch football not everything that happens between snaps.
-You can only stand to hear Dick Stockton butcher player names for 35 minutes.
-You have a job/wife/kids and sitting around for 60+ minutes to watch a game that already happened seems excessive.
-On a flight and just want to kill some time.
-The ability to watch every snap of multiple games in a short time period.

This from a guy who watches the all-22 of the redskins and their upcoming opponents previous game at least twice a week in preparation for the next game. I could easily see why someone would want to watch the condensed version.

I would encourage anyone next season to take advantage of the free preview of NFL Game Rewind app. It has gotten better and better every year since it came out four seasons ago.

I love condensed versions of NFL games. I've only experienced it through NFL replay, or via DVR skills, but it's awesome when it works. Typically I don't care about the commentary, it's gotten so dull, I'd rather listen to music while watching a game.

I'm the opposite I "need" the commentary in order to go through the stoppages in play which I guess is why condensed games would work best because you get to watch every snap but I feel that disrupts the flow of the actual broadcast. A good example is after a particular play the analyst will talk about what happened to make the play work or not but when it's chopped up you get that.

I can see the appeal to condensed games but It's not for me.

It's basically like flopping in the NBA. Pretty pathetic. Can't stand it. Tons of late flags this past Sunday and I only watched three hours of the action. Slowly but surely they're sucking the enjoyment out of this league, making it unwatchable. Why anyone would want to take the NBA's approach to things is beyond me but oh well.

Wait, you mean people don't actually want nothing but offense in the NFL? No way!
