Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
Dez Bryant you have to go..
We have to cut ties with this guy. He will never get it..
You can not learn common sense... He is a grown man.
Who consistently acts like a child.
This guy has Million Dollar skills, but a 2 cent
brain. This is what happens when Children have Children.Comment

What a joke. Now I see why this fool was passed up by twenty teams in his draft. The boy has no damn sense and has too much growing up to do for a person in his situation.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
Like I said, I wouldn't be throwing a fit over this incident in the sense that he should be locked up and the key thrown away. It would just bother me more as an owner/teammate/fan all of the continued examples of what he considered normal behavior. Deion turned his back on him, saying he couldn't get through to him. That says a lot too.Last edited by wwharton; 07-18-2012, 11:28 AM.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
Police did not immediately arrest Bryant because police saw no evidence of the assault. Evidence of the injuries, however, surfaced a day or two later, said DeSoto police Capt. Ron Smith during a news conference Tuesday morning.Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
Too much he said/she said, I'd guess but Aggie could probably give a better break down. I know plenty of domestic violence cases like this happen without there being an arrest.

BTW, his license plate is , 'Bail Me'...SMH.
Depending on the facts, I will reserve judgement on what punishment the NFL or Dallas should impose. His past 'incidents' were all just immaturity and I really didn't think much of it, but this one, if the latest allegations are true, definitely deserves a suspension.
You know, you are literally right before training camp and had such a quiet off-season, smh.
Dez needs to grow up quickly or his career will end even quicker.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
Just a quick fyi-the vehicle in question does not belong to Dez:
"Bryant moved to DeSoto to live in the home of his mentor, former bail bondsman David Wells. The Navigator that Bryant drove Saturday was registered in Wells’ name, explaining the vanity plate."
also:
“"I’m helping him prepare not to get in trouble,” Wells said in a 2010 interview with The Dallas Morning News."
You're doing a bang up job there, Dave. Keep up the good work.Last edited by coogrfan; 07-18-2012, 01:28 PM.Comment

1)The parties have to live together
2)Has to be reported within 48 hours of occurrence
3)Must have physical injuries. (Bruise/Cut/Ect.)
Now if 1 of those are not present then an arrest cannot be made on scene. However the victim can go get charges or request the Officer follow up and get charges.
But without further details it is hard to say and I really don't know their charges for Domestic related incidents.Texas A&M Aggies
Denver Broncos
Colorado Avalanche

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
An article that goes into Dez Bryant's background to explain how he has become the talented-but-troubled player that he is. http://newsok.com/sometimes-dez-brya...693623/?page=1
By no means does this excuse Dez's behavior. It merely provides context for it. He absolutely needs more structure away from the football field to keep him in line. Fair question as to whether Dallas can or should offer it, and at what point might they cut their losses.
I think Bryant's a long way from getting cut, but continued incidents are troubling. I hope he can get the support he needs and get his issues straightened out.Comment
