Re: NFL Off Topic
Phins just need a new OC, maybe a change at GM soon. I don't think he's done a terrible job building the team, but eventually there is a point where change has to be made there.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Tannehill is an above average QB but I don't think he fits Miami's system. Doesn't have the arm to throw deep balls to Wallace. Probably has good trade value. I doubt they'd actually give up on him, though.Fan of:

How could he not fit the system when his OC is the same guy that was his head coach in college? That doesn't make any sense.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: NFL Off Topic
I don't think Tannehill is the problem. The problem is the offensive line that can't block. A good offensive line doesn't give up 7 sacks, even against a great defense. Thanks to LBzrules: So these threads won't be forever lost.

I still think it's a bit too soon to give up on Philbin and to a lesser extent, Tannehill.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Way too soon. Two seasons together with a rookie and now maturing QB.
Not every coach/QB can come in and make the playoffs. They improved and were a win short of making the playoffs. Next season, a playoff berth would be fair for expectations. If they fall short then evaluate. Way too knee jerk right now.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

I like what I've seen of Tannehill. No way I'd pull the plug on him.NFL - Vikings

Re: NFL Off Topic
I don't know about sub part arm strength. Tannerhill looks like he has a cannon of an arm whenever he throws it. I doubt that's the reason

Titans are another franchise being ruined by s meddlesome owner. How do you fire your head coach because he wont hire assistants you want? If anything I would want him hiring guys he wants to work with.

Re: NFL Off Topic
I feel like when Tannehill misses deep it's overthrown not short. Besides, over the years it's not like all of the better QBs have slung it around like Favre.Last edited by Chrisksaint; 01-04-2014, 04:20 PM.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Unless the Dolphins have incompetent scouting, it seems unlikely they would have drafted him as high as they did if he didn't have a good arm.
Maybe he doesn't have the arm talent of Flacco but he certainly wouldn't have been the 8th pick of the draft if he had a noodle arm.Comment
