If Roddy White hasn't been suspended because of Twitter, tweeting "omg" and "horrible" - WITHOUT context behind them, mind you, even if everyone knew what he was talking about - is an absolute joke.

Now, the Dolphins have every right to suspend an employer for whatever they see fit... but it was just public grandstanding at it's finest. Let's not act like the Dolphins don't have their own issues they're trying to get away from, and this is just one way to "show they are in control."

Not to mention these gems from Roddy. But Michael Sam wasn't a thing then, so the league gave zero ****s.

I think if they said they were upset about the TV Show, there wouldn't be any backlash. Yeah, some would try to spin it the other way, but most already know that most players hate when one of their players attract extra attention (e.g. TO, Romo when he was with Jessica Simpson, etc).

I think if he plays for any team other than St. Louis or Miami, he doesn't face nearly the amount of action that was taken against him.

I mean, it was kind of an OMG moment. And maybe he thought it was horrible that Michael Sam has to play for St. Louis.

          Just wow.............

NY Jets defensive coordinator Dennis Thurman is under investigation for allegedly SLAPPING a woman at a New Jersey restaurant earlier this week ... this according to a police report obtained by TMZ Sports ... and we obtained photos taken during the heated exchange.

A 28-year-old woman has filed a police report with the Morristown PD, claiming she was at the outdoor bar at Pazzo Pazzo restaurant on Wednesday afternoon when she encountered Thurman.

According to the report, 58-year-old Thurman began hitting on her and offering her drinks -- but she made it clear she was not interested.

At that point, the woman claims Thurman "showed an aggressive demeanor toward her" and then "out of nowhere, Thurman slapped her across the face."

The woman says she was shocked and blurted, "You just hit me."

TMZ Sports obtained 2 photos taken during the encounter -- one of which shows the woman flipping Thurman off moments before the slap ... and another photo appears to Thurman following through after the alleged slap.

After the alleged slap, the woman claims Thurman -- who played 8 years in the NFL as a defensive back -- threw his hands up in the air and left the area.

The woman claims she was not injured during the incident, but filed the report out of concern Thurman would strike other women in the future.

They each had their own show and then they had a show together.

There is/was also someone on the Falcons I believe with a show on the travel network or something, visiting different places.

I think the biggest concern for Sam (imo) is that he's a rookie who barely got picked. Everyone else has an idea of the time commitment the NFL season brings, and have successfully gone through it and played key roles. He has no idea what he's in for, and thought he was better prepared than he obviously was (since he was surprised he was picked so late).

On second look...it looks like in the first pic her back is turned towards him and she's flipping him the bird.

Second pic looks like he slapped her hand.

                That wrist action follow-thru tho

Yep. Probably 90% of Detroit is the exact same way.

I bet Iron Sheik is sad though. That was the night he fought Jim Brunzell from Minne-SOH-tah and that jabroni Brian Blair in front of ninety-tree TAUSAND pee-pel.

Had no idea the Silverdome was still up because I just assumed they knocked it down once Ford Field opened up.

What happened to the roof though?

Probably didnt have the funds (or need) to have it demolished. Roof fell apart with no maintenance and weather I'd assume.

Minnesota's roof caved in with some snow once and it was still an active dome at the time.

The city of Pontiac actually found some sucker to buy the Silverdome in the hopes that he would build some sort of complex there that would spark development in the area. Instead the guy felt he could revive the Silverdome as some sort of big events venue.
