Re: NFL Off Topic
The Bills or Eagles would be the two best choices with the way their crazy offseasons have gone so far.
In any event, it's Hard Knocks so I'll still watch no matter what. HBO really does the best documentary type stuff.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
I'm not sure they've ever really made a bad Hard Knocks, even the teams I'm not that interested in I enjoy the rookie stories and overall humanizing of some of the players.
Even delayed, would have loved to see a Hard Knocks-style show about the initial free agency period, maybe some draft lead-in and aftermath stuff, then have Hard Knocks pick up with a couple of teams, ideally continuing a couple of the threads from the previous offseason.Comment

So it was just taped cut up drills of a few select players.
Just the know-it-all analysts talking about lack of hip movement and burst.
Total waste of time.Comment

Did he not know he was slow as hell? That just says he didnt prepare much for this if that truly number surprised him.
I think its a total waste of time and kind of embarrassing for some of these vets to go through that process. Especially right after the young bucks made big noise at the real combine. See those 40 times, brutal.Comment

"Oh, Felix Jones ran a 4.9 40. He showed a lack of burst and he just doesn't have the explosiveness anymore since the ACL injury."
Umm...wasn't that the point? They're not 21 years old coming out of college.
These guys just try to sound so damn smart it's nauseating.
And it's usually the guys who have never played the game or set foot in a lockeroom before.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
So Albert Breer says things should crystalize about LA relocation plans by October/November, it seems likely a team will be playing there in 2016. One of the 10-12 scenarios is the Rams moving to LA, Oakland to St. Louis. Rams are the most popular of the teams in LA per polling, Oakland would get a fresh start and presumably the Chargers a new stadium in that scenario.

Which is obvious, since the NFL has problems with morality, they don't care about shoving a camera right in his face after rehab.Too Old To Game Club

Re: NFL Off Topic
Per PFT.com
Having just hosted the world’s biggest futbol event, Brazil may be in line for a slightly less important game of football.
According to Alex Marvez of FOX Sports, the NFL is considering Brazil as a possible candidate for the 2017 Pro Bowl.
For players who grumble about having to play the all-star game at the Super Bowl host city rather than Hawaii, the idea of Ipanema Beach would certainly provide an attractive alternative.
That might help draw a better class of all-stars to the game, rather than the annual flood of “injury” withdrawals. As the league tries to market itself overseas, that would only help.
With upcoming Super Bowls in exotic locales including Houston and Minneapolis, taking the game abroad would certainly intrigue players. Having hosted the World Cup last summer, the locals could certainly handle a big event played in only one stadium.
And while South Bend, Ind. has the market cornered on Touchdown Jesus, that statue of Incomplete Pass Jesus overlooking Rio de Janeiro would also be worth checking out.#RespectTheCultureComment
