I know they've been broadcasting concerts live recently so they're capable.
I watched a John Legend concert on Yahoo a long while back and that ran with no issues whatsoever. I don't know about how some of these companies will do with an NFL game. MLB is the king of digital media as they have their own in house servers and such and they barely ever have issues with their live streaming. I think Google is probably the company to hand this off to as I think they have the best infrastructure to handle the huge traffic that this game might generate.

It's no different than how every other negative story to come out of professional wrestling gets dropped on Vince McMahon's doorstep. The media and people that don't like you give no ****s about where they throw their blame when they get in their blind rages/fake outrages. Doesn't matter if it is or isn't the person's fault, once it's out there, it's something they'll have to defend themselves against for the rest of their lives.

Roger has plenty of folks in the media like Peter king that kiss his butt and defend "The Shield" no matter what, so I sure as hell hope we're really not going to have a "the media gives Goodell too much grief" conversation here. The guy pretty much brings it upon himself with the blatant hypocrisy and double standards that have become standard during his tenure.

When that whole Ray rice thing came out it never turned against Goodell until he laid out that light sentencing. Same with the Irsay case to a lesser degree.

But if a NFL player got locked up for soliciting an underage girl (which is rampant in Brazil), Gooddell can't just spin that. It'd be the final nail in the coffin for him.
Not sure how #2 would be his fault.

That being said, we're nowhere near a final nail for Goodell, the owners love the guy. He's increased their bottom line significantly and the NFL still trends upwards.

            Roger Goodell is going nowhere.

Yeah, even with this recent string of marks against Goodell, he's still probably the 2nd most liked commissioner in the 4 major sports.

Silver is in the honeymoon phase still, but people HATE Bettman and Selig had some serious struggles before settling in over the last 5-10 years. Of course, he's gone now so Manfred will probably get a grace period.

If Goodell survived the Rice stuff, he can survive most anything as long as he keeps making that money for the owners. Their voice is the only one that truly matters.

TV ratings were up last year, despite all the adverse publicity for the league.

Everyone condemned players like Hardy for their off-field actions but you know Dallas fans will be happy if Hardy plays well for them.

Instead of being punished for his behavior, he may earn $12 million this year.

@PeteCarroll: Our idea for the extra point:
                      -Automatic 7pts for a TD
-Mandatory try from the 2 for 1pt
-Defense can score 1pt by returning a fumble or INT

                      I just can't.

Can I get an invite to hot Arizona to stay in posh hotels and throw crap against the wall for a week too?

I get that no one may like XPs because it seems like a gimme.

But either shrink the goalposts or make it a longer distance.

This new math they're coming up with is nuts. Was the system broken before?

The NFL can just say "**** you, you're doing it", can't they?

I don't think so...My guess is that HBO gives the NFL a list of teams they want featured on the show. Then NFL goes to that list of teams FO and asks if they want to be on the show or not. Because I feel if the NFL could do that the Patriots would have been the show already, when Tebow was brought into camp.

The Browns don't meet the exception requirements released last year and can be forced to participate I believe.

Or did they get a new coach this year? Can't keep the comings and goings straight.

Can't compel a team to do Hard Knocks if they have a new coach, have been to the playoffs in the last two years or have already been the focus of the show in the last 10 years.
