Re: NFL Off Topic
You absolutely can NOT blame Graham without also blaming Wilson. Graham doesn't throw balls to himself. He's not a shifty speedy wide out, he's a TE... a lot of his damage winning battles for the ball. Wilson, from what I can tell, has little desire to throw a 50/50 ball. It's not surprising since he never really had anyone worth taking that chance with, and considering the make up of the team, it's made a ton more sense to not hurt the defense and give the ground game a chance rather than throwing jump balls. But in the red zone when you have a guy like Graham, you have to trust that he will win battles. You also have to make him your first read a lot more often than is happening.
If he can't trust Graham in this regard, that trade was a huge loss considering they gave up an olinesman to get him, and are playing more of a pass catching TE at a time when the oline could use help blocking.Comment

Not really sure where to put this but interesting nonetheless. All I really care about is whether this impacts the NFL's deal with EA though.

Re: NFL Off Topic
Huh, I've seen Wilson throw up a lot of 50-50 balls.
To their credit, the Seattle WRs have done well going up to get the ball.
Even smaller guys like Tate and Baldwin.
Fail Mary was a jump ball. So was that pass to Kearse in the SB which set up the would-be winning TD.
Surprised they haven't done more with Matthews, who had that big SB game.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Lmao! I just thought about something. Russell Wilson is SLIGHTLY similar to Tom Brady. In the sense that he has led a team to more than one Super Bowl with receivers who were not high draft picks. People that dislike Wilson should think about that. Yeah, Wilson has benefited from having good defenses but so has Tom Brady, yet people never say Tom Brady is overrated but you always hear that about Wilson.
Am I wrong?
I am not even supposed to like Wilson since I am a niners fan

Re: NFL Off Topic
Did Corey Dillon not exist or something?
He's not even saying the comparisons are directly one to one, he's just saying that the situations that Brady played in are very similar to the ones Russell has been placed in early in his career.Last edited by jWILL253; 10-20-2015, 09:07 AM.jWILLComment
