Without a doubt. Just like Russ has the defense and Marshawn, peanut butter has jelly. Very good comparison.

You're also forgetting bread here. Huge contributor to peanut butter's success and shouldn't be overlooked.

He's not even saying the comparisons are directly one to one, he's just saying that the situations that Brady played in are very similar to the ones Russell has been placed in early in his career.

And I don't agree is that not allowed? Outside of his first year playing and his injury year Brady has throw no less than 492 passes in a season (413 the year he took over for Bledsoe).

Wilson's highest 452, so no I don't see much comparison between the two outside of being on winning teams.

He's not wrong and I'm not right. But please tell me more about Corey Dillon and Anthony Thomas.

Brady makes sorry WRs better. Wilson was gifted Jimmy Graham and Graham will be luck to catch 35 balls this season.

To be fair, he is talking about their first 4 years in the league. And you're being extremely one sided if you don't take Wilson's rushing numbers into account...which is crazy because Wilson was a much more efficient passer than Brady too. Brady did play in a time where pass defense was much better however.

You're right I'm not really taking the rushing into this, but I will acknowledge it a part of Wilsons game that he is great with. I just view the QB position differently, they are the distributor of the ball. In his first 3 years Brady had 1,541 pass attempts he was given the offense and was going with it. In his first three years Wilson has 1,252 attempts. Wilson is also playing in the pass friendly NFL where DBs can't touch WRs, defenses can't hit WRs and no one can touch the QB. Brady's first there years were in a vastly different NFL (as you have stated).

But Brady even in his early years, was a guy who made the talent around him better. While it appears to me that Wilson benefits from the talent and has actually made Jimmy Graham look worse (I am willing to entertain the thought that Graham has something to do with that) but then again when Brady had Moss (an elite WR talent), they damn near broke the league and Moss had far less in the tank than Graham at this point.

Am I hard on Wilson, sure I'll own that, but are we really gonna compare him to Brady even early in their careers. I think Wilson's early years compare more to Jim Kellys as a far as a passer of the football

Early in their careers (four seasons of playing), Brady already had three SB rings, 2 SB MVPs, etc. It's impossible to compare their first four years because of Brady's success.

However, the original point - I think - was talking about why no one called Brady overrated. That's just false/mis-remembering. People called Brady overrated until about 07 when he started put up the regular season stats to match the postseason success. He was a "system QB." He had a great defense. He had the best coach of all time. He simply dink and dunks it. And on and on.

That isn't a terrible comparison. Success/stats/early career numbers, though, yeah. Wilson and Brady are not a good comparison.

I hope so but I only saw pieces of the game so I didn't see how he got him the ball... that makes a difference with predicting it happening consistently now.

But his first two seasons that definitely wasn't the case and he was more than willing to throw those to Golden Tate and to a lesser extend Sidney Rice. He trusted Golden Tate a lot to win on those downfield. Just doesn't do it so much with Doug Baldwin and Jermaine Kearse. Think we're starting to see him go to Jimmy and trust him a bit more now, just think it'll take some time.
Someone mentioned already, those deep balls started with separation or a speedster getting a step. I'm not saying Wilson is Tim Tebow and needs guys wide open. I'm talking about when a player isn't open and he throws it anyway bc his guy should win most of the time.

As you mentioned, he's had it drilled in his head not to take those chances, and the talent they've had on both offense (lack there of) and defense had a lot to do with that. So really, the comment isn't a knock on how he plays. But it is a problem if they want Graham to work out in their system. The best way to use Graham is different than anything he's been asked to do so far in his NFL career.

In the sense that he has led a team to more than one Super Bowl with receivers who were not high draft picks. People that dislike Wilson should think about that. Yeah, Wilson has benefited from having good defenses but so has Tom Brady, yet people never say Tom Brady is overrated but you always hear that about Wilson.

                      Am I wrong?

I am not even supposed to like Wilson since I am a niners fan
You are wrong. Mostly bc of what Beantown just stated. Plenty of people called Brady overrated for years. Plus who dislikes Wilson? An honest debate on where he's at in his career doesn't mean anyone hates him.

There are conflicting reports saying that Jackson was simply pulling out from practice and lost control. Cliff Avril is also citing the report as false.

Yeah, just exiting the facility and going too fast is all.

Fred Jackson’s wreck comes days after Seahawks fullback Derrick Coleman was arrested for an alleged hit and run.

That sounded ridiculous (though I wouldn't put it past athletes) which is why I added the "seriously".
