    NFL Off Topic

His stand has nothing to do with if he's a capable leader or not. And believe it or not, a lot of his teammates are not upset with him for it.

He's consistent: He doesn't stand in the pocket either.

Yeah, I have a feeling that a lot of what Kaep is saying/doing is not an uncommon opinion across the league. I respect him for taking a stand knowing that it WILL generate a lot of unnecessary heat when he should be shying away from it.

That's all I'll say about this since this is clearly out of bounds for OS.

I would be shocked if they were upset

I'm sure some of them were. Especially the ones who can't relate.

I was creating this salary system for a madden league and running the contracts for veterans and I have no idea why anybody wants to be a running back. They get recycled and are paid horribly

I seen that but maybe this be a good thing for Dallas. Lets say Prescott has a decent or above average year, maybe they could use him to trade? Heck could they free up cap space as well or is he a penalty?

Are you talking about trading Prescott or Romo?

I really like Dak. I think he is gonna make a lot of teams regret not drafting him.

Romo. My fault for not specifying that. Lol

Lions traded Jeremy Kerley to San Fran for Brandon Thomas. Thomas if I remember correctly was a first round talent that got injured his last year in college so he slipped to the third round. Hopefully Detroit can make something of him.

Tirico is getting some games after all

The NFL wants NBC’s top team of Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth for Thursday Night Football, with a caveat. Due to scheduling conflicts, a pair of the NFL Network-only Thursday night games will be handled by Mike Tirico and Doug Flutie.

NBC made the announcement on Monday, a limited exception to the Thursday night contract that CBS has employed from time to time. For example, Jim Nantz and Phil Simms didn’t work last year’s ketchup-and-mustard game between the Rams and Buccaneers.

Tirico also will host Football Night in America on Sundays from the site of each game, with Bob Costas becoming the stadium-site host of Thursday Night Football.

It all gets starting in 10 days, when the Panthers face the Broncos from Denver to start the 2016 NFL season. Three days later, NBC has the Patriots-Cardinals game to cap the first Sunday of the season.
