Special session of the Nevada legislature called for the 2nd week in October to vote on the stadium plan for Las Vegas.
Competing plan(s) to buy and retrofit the Coliseum and keep the Raiders don't seem to be going anywhere w/ the Oakland Mayor.Comment

I'm normally indifferent towards teams relocating, but I really don't want the Raiders to leave Oakland. It is mostly for undesirable reasons, but they fit so well.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Funny you say that because I feel similar, but LV is one place that seems to fit their persona well. As much as I hate it for Oakland, I love it for LV.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Bay Area has the 49ers. Raiders in Vegas is a natural fit. No-brainer move that just feels right.Comment

I feel horrible for the fans of the Raiders if they leave AGAIN. I mean, it's bad enough to lose your team once but twice in a lifetime for a lot of fans? That's got to be a gut punch.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: NFL Off Topic
49ers set a bar for how much they got for SBLs. The NFL isn't trying to help the team get a new stadium because the Coliseum is in such bad shape. They see an opportunity to increase revenues by a lot.
Davis isn't going to get public money from any of the cities in the Bay Area and he's not as rich as other owners. So he may have to move to a city which will give him stadium money or sell a stake to someone else.
Or both.Comment
