He's made the owners quite a bit of money so I wouldn't be so sure that the owners want him out.

Fans, players, and media can hate them all we want but it's not what matters.

But haven't previous commissioners made money too?

Did he negotiate the latest TV deals or the CBA by himself?

I think just about any other person could have presided over the financial well being of the league the past 5-10 years. As we saw, the DVR scandals, the PEDs and the CTE issues haven't really hurt the league that much.

Goddell wasn't a successful business guy when he got the job, like previous commissioners. He was willing to become the face of the league, which has meant taking a lot of criticism. So maybe from that standpoint, the owners like him taking the abuse for their decisions. But if Mara takes flak for this Josh Brown case, maybe that will change.

I don't know those details and I think you know that.

My only point is that the owners intentions might not equate to what you and I want as fans.

Exactly. We as fans and the media have been calling for Goodell to get fired since 2014 for different reasons. From the DV issues, to concussions to deflategate. The owners don't care all that much about the image of the league when it is generating 12 BILLION dollars per year.

Don't watch the Browns/Bengals game. Orange overload.
            NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
            NFL - Buffalo Bills
            MLB - Cincinnati Reds

I figured the fact that it's the Browns and Bengals would be reason enough to warn people away from watching.

Saints just might be the worst teams in football without Drew Brees.

Has there been a week where Carr and Crabtree haven't connected on some amazing plays together?

Such a great #2 next to Coop.

Any mess w/ SlingTV? We're trying it out this weekend and NFL Red Zone is a buffering mess.

Are other channels like that or just that one?

                        Matt Stafford is good.

Looks like it's the same SlingTV I tried a couple years ago.

Just checking box scores, have the Ravens just forgotten how to run the football all together or what? Even in games they're getting yards, they just kind of stop.

Today every time they attempted they got stuffed. Probably should have made more of a commitment to running though.

As for earlier in the year, that was a reason Trestman was fired. He ran the ball about as much as a casual Madden gamer.

Flacco leads the league in pass atempts. Flacco should not be leading in that category.

Ravens are just bad this year.

The day he threw that game winning TD with a dislocated shoulder in his first season, I knew we had something special.

At just 28 years old, he has forever left in this league. I'm not sure where this season ends up, but for now all I know is there is something special brewing in the D. Martha Ford, Bob Quinn... Just do the right things please.
