Re: NFL Off Topic
If Tony is retiring... why would Dallas release him? I could be mistaken, but if a player retires wouldn't his entire cap hit come off the books?

Re: NFL Off Topic
Gotta say I'm disappointed that we won't see Romo get another shot at the playoffs and a SB.
He had a nice swan song drive against Philly in Week 17. It was kinda magical to be honest.
Gotta believe it's the health. A messed up back is nothing to mess with. Wonder why now, though?
Best of luck in broadcasting, Tony! Two Dallas QB's as commentators now... Ha!NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Re: NFL Off Topic
2016 Rams will be on Amazon's All or Nothing.
Well, just in case you have some twisted interpretation of the word "fun," Amazon is here for you. The digital conglomerate announced Friday that it will feature the 2016 Rams for the second season of its Emmy-nominated series, "All or Nothing." Amazon Prime subscribers will get a behind-the-scenes look at the Rams' hectic, nomadic 12-month stretch, from the move to L.A. to the firing of Jeff Fisher to the hiring of Sean McVay, the youngest head coach in the NFL's modern era.
The Rams -- spoiler alert -- finished the 2016 season with a 4-12 record, losing their last seven games while sporting the NFL's worst offense. Quarterback Jared Goff struggled mightily as a rookie, running back Todd Gurley never got going in his second season, and down the stretch, the defense broke down.
But it was, um, eventful.
Despite going 4-12, the 2016 Rams continue to be reality TV darlings, and Emmy-nominated "All or Nothing" will once again chronicle their chaotic year.
Loosely related NFL and HBO agreed to a long term extension to continue Hard Knocks.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
I kinda hate this...
The guy will always be thrown under the bus. Tremendous quarterback...goes from Eastern Illinois to putting up consistently elite numbers...and often on teams that were unbalanced and poorly coached.
It's a shame they couldn't put a solid team around him until the past couple of years.Australian Rules Football...just sayin'Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Maybe they'll just finish up the NFC West the next two years and show us how incompetent (I've used that word twice already today and it's 8:45) San Francisco really is next year.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment
