Re: Is (Insert Player Here) A Hall of Famer?
Jackson really only has one season of elite production (2006). I don't think he should be HOF, he's never really been among the elite RB in the league.Comment

Bumping this thread up because of what I posted on the off topic forum.
Wes Welker: catch totals are impressive but never been a true #1 receiver. Though he only figures to rack up more catches and even a sb in Denver. Could he be hof when it's all said and done?Comment

If he gets to 1,000 receptions, 10,000 yards and 50 TD's, I say yes. Reluctantly, but yes.EXPERIENCE MAYHEM FOOTBALLComment

Re: Is (Insert Player Here) A Hall of Famer?
I don't think his career would indicate he is a hall of famer, but he's definitely put up some incredible stats. I could see him as a vet choice quite a few years down the line.Too Old To Game Club

Re: Is (Insert Player Here) A Hall of Famer?
I think there's a few WRs that are going to have chances to be HoFers down the line like you said just cause they were consistently good but never elite in this passing era, Welker is probably a good example and Colston is another possible guy if he keeps being as consistent as he's been for at least another 4-5 years, etc.Last edited by Chrisksaint; 08-09-2013, 11:24 PM.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: Is (Insert Player Here) A Hall of Famer?
I like Welker, but I can't make him a HOF'r until about 5 or 6 other guys get in ahead of him. Welker's a very good player, but no one can deny that having Tom Brady throwing to him had a lot to do with his numbers."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. As of right now, I can only think of Welker as a first ballot Hall of Very Good-er (that sounds proper).

Re: Is (Insert Player Here) A Hall of Famer?
I don't see Wes Welker as a HoF player. I don't feel he dominates games. As far as Colston, in my honest opinion, I am not sure he should even be suggested. There are a lot of good players like Colston who don't sniff HoF consideration. At least, at this point. Who knows where they will stand in 4-5 years.
Just my opinions of course!"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

I'm a Broncos fan here. Do you guys think Steve Atwater Rod Smith, and Terrell Davis can make the hall?Last edited by nl15; 08-11-2013, 04:13 PM.Madden 25 - Steelers
