Good point, I forgot that they signed him so they wouldn't need RB. I wasn't sure they would be sold on Carr and really they are a QB away from being a playoff team. One of top defenses and offensive line, Pairing Watkins with Cameron and Gordon and a strong offense.

I personally just feel Carr isn't the answer. The depth of WR could cause them to take QB early and wait on WR for 2nd pick but I think passing on Watkins would be a mistake.
    Go Lions, Wings and Wolverines!

Not a mistake when you have Josh Gordon, and if Watkins is as good a pro as people think he could be, they wont be able to pay to keep Gordon AND Watkins long term, and i would rather keep Gordon who has a higher ceiling (lead the NFL in yards and YPC with Weeden, Campbell and Hoyer giving him the ball, get him a real QB and watch what happens)

Carr is the the type of QB GM Ray Farmer wants, and has the profile of a Shannhan QB, good size, good mobillity, can throw on the run to both the left and right, and makes good decisions. plus dont forget the Browns also have Bill Parcells as a consultant now and Carr also fits his QB Profile.

They also reported we were taking Blackmon over Richardson a few years back, despite about a month before the draft the Browns taking Richardson at 3 or 4 was as guarenteed as death and taxes so take their word with a grain of salt

Dont forget Atlanta needs a tackle in the worst way, and Oakland just lost their franchise LT and are 1 spot ahead of ATL, it makes sense to make Atlanta want to trade up

I don't like when people make this argument. Yes, those are not great qbs, but that's one of the reasons why he was that good. Yes, they overthew him sometimes, yes Campbell is afraid to throw further than 5 yards. BUT, because they are mediocre qbs, they only look for Gordon because they trust him. If they had Peyton or Brady, he'd spread the ball around more and look at all receivers, not just decide before the play that he's throwing it to Gordon.

This is not meant to bash Gordon, I absolutely love him as a player, amazing talent and a walking highlight reel.

I think Atlanta won't trade up, unless for Clowney. With Robinson, Lewan, and Matthews all top 12 talents they will be fine.

then how did Jordan Cameron put up almost 1000 yards and 10 TDs as well? Alshon Jeffery was only targetted 10 less times then Gordon, and thats with Marshall, Bennet and Forte. Thomas was only targetted 14 less times with Manning. So its not like they are just throwing to him all game long and more then anyone else, he's just that damn good.

Robinson and Mathews could very well be gone by 5, Lewans not even close to a top 12 talent, serious issues with speed rushers plus even more serious off the field issues. Unless the Rams pass on a LT (unlikley IMO) Atlanta almost has to trade up.

Would be surprised, from what I hear, if # TAMU WR Mike Evans isn’t a Top 5 pick. Expectation is Watkins goes before him, Evans goes quick

Like i said before, Watkins to Jacksonville and either Evans or Mack (who i think goes top 2) to Cleveland

Since Mike Evans is now a top 5 pick somehow, now all I want for Draftchristmas is Taylor Lewan.

But knowing somehow hes now a top 10 pick, all I want now is Zack Martin.

But knowing somehow he'll go #11, all I want now is a trade back.

But all of a sudden the buzz with the Giants beat writers is that the Giants are in love with Odell Beckam Jr. WAT! Im not sure what we would need with another Victor Cruz.

Anyway, only thing I dont want right now is Ebron. Mainly because he cant block and thats the last thing we need is a guy who cant block. I wouldnt be tooo heartbroken if it happened though (even though he'll be drafted already like everyone else).

If I'm reading through all the rumors right, it sounds like my Bucs are trading up, staying put, or trading down.
