its not all based off his pro-day tho, he really hasn't shown more then an average arm, he might be maxed out potential wise, and there have to be concerns about his hand (cant throw without a glove) and body size. His pro-day where he had a very very hard time completing deep passes were just another notch

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
But what about his history as an actual football player on an actual field? Too much is being made about that pro day man. Dude was the first overall pick before that, now he cant throw without gloves, too small, hands not big enough? Come on man.Comment

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
because his only history as a fooball players is at the college level or lower, if we just went on how they played in college every team in football would have 2-3 frachise QBs, guys like Colt McCoy, Colt Brennen, Timmy Chang, etc would be pro-bowl/ SB winnin QBs.
theres things that just dont translate well to the NFL, and Bridgewater has a ton of them.Comment

I don't know what you mean with your "dont translate well to the NFL" comment. That reeks of espn pundit speech.Last edited by kingkilla56; 05-07-2014, 09:55 PM.Comment

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
He wasn't a top 5 pick before his pro-day, i havent seen him as a top 5 pick since december. thats ok you believe the lies you have to, but he's not falling just because of his pro-day that you thinkis so meaningless, every single GM in football would be out of a job if that was their line of thought. its because he's the defintion of overrated, a created media sensation that played little sisters of the poor his career and got inflated stats out of it. When you look and break down his actual film he has alot of flaws that cant be fixed. I see Andy Dalton at best.
Well every player's history is only the college level or lower before they enter the league. And before his pro day he was a consensus top 5 pick because of what he had done playing actual football and not beauty pageant football aka pro days and combines.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
He was still the top rated QB going into his pro day.
*Edit - Didn't read your little sisters of the poor comment initially, whenever Bridgewater played tough competition he did what he did every other week and produced.Last edited by IlliniM1ke; 05-07-2014, 10:22 PM.Favorite Teams:

Also, Dalton turned around a team not much better than Cleveland at the time and took them to the playoffs 2 years in a row.Boston Red Sox

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
I have no idea what you're talking about. Are you saying Bridgewater's projected stock is some kind of conspiracy or something? I sincerely hope that Cleveland drafts Bridgewater in the 1st.
Also, Dalton turned around a team not much better than Cleveland at the time and took them to the playoffs 2 years in a row.
No Dalton didn't turn around anything, having one of the best defenses in football turned the Bengals around. you left out the part that they get spanked every year in the playoffs as wellComment

If my team needed a quarterback and I could get Bridgewater at the end of the first or early second I'd be really happy with that.Tennessee Volunteers
