Heh, this is pretty cool:
Rich Eisen ✔ @richeisen Follow For the first time ever, draftees have chosen the music that plays over speakers as they walk to the stage in Radio City Music Hall.

That's pretty sweet. Gonna be fun to see the creativity.
If I were getting drafted, I'd bring a smoke machine and come out to Undertaker's music. It would take longer than the next team had to make a pick.Comment

Mike Evans is completely overrated imo, wouldn't touch him at all.

So Mayock starts his trolling 24 hours in advance huh.
Doesn't have Manziel in the Top 15 picks.

Developing Story
As 1st reported on ESPN, on SportsCenter today that the Houston Texans are now in trade talks. Apparently, they want to move down in the draft in order to grab more picks. That's smart. They need all the picks they can get. More news on this developing story, as it happens. The Texans currently hold the #1 pick of the draft.
Story Update
The Texans are looking to get trade done before their time on the clock is up. They plan to get a trade done before the are required to make a choice. ESPN reported this again during their draft special earlier this evening.Last edited by bradtxmale; 05-07-2014, 08:12 PM.Comment

Also, here's more draft news. NFL.com is reporting that the Miami Dolphins are looking to trade out of the #19 spot of the 1st round. Here's the link to the story from NFL.com.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
Interesting take on what goes on in the War Room during the Draft from Andrew Brandt:
At team headquarters across the NFL, the draft means waiting, working through the chaos, waiting some more and trusting The Board
Here are three amusing anecdotes from the chaos of signing undrafted free agents.
• Once I talked directly to a player—he did not have an agent—and agreed to terms. Later I noticed his name on the list of signed players for two other teams, as well as ours. I called the player, who politely said, “Oh, I thought I could sign with all of you and then pick one.” I told him he had to pick a team. (He went to the Cardinals and lasted a week.)
• In the 2003 post-draft chaos, one of our scouts yelled out, “Anyone want to sign this quarterback Romo? He’s from Wisconsin.” Crickets.
• And my favorite story: I once told a player we would sign him for a $500 bonus. His answer was, and I quote: “Well, I only have about $100 now, but I can get you the rest in about a week.” “No,” I answered, “We pay you.”#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
Just about everyone and their mother thinks Bridgewater is going to Cleveland at 26 today. I think he's a bust waiting to happen so that would suck.
I've also seen a few people seem to think a guy some thought would go top 12 will fall to the 2nd roundComment

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
Seems most speculation has the Browns going OT at #4, I just have a hard time seeing that, could we use an upgrade at RT sure but with the needs this team has I don't see how you pass on a Mack or Watkins if they are on the board to take a RT, now if they're both gone and Clowney goes #1 as expected then I can see going OT but if they pass on Mack or Watkins in favor of a RT (who would eventually become LT once Thomas is done) not sure, safe pick sure but not sure how I like it.Favorite Teams:
