Was a guaranteed 7 Sacks a year for us in the last 3 years so and this was while we limited his snaps the last 2 years.

If he can get you 6 and some FFs, then it's a good deal. Plus, I was hoping he ended his career in the same place where it started. I'll always have love for Pep outside of those years he played in that mess in Chicago.

I feel the exact same way. Outside of the years he spent in that sewer in Wisconsin of course. [emoji51]

From what I have read on the Twitter, he didn't have a good season last year. And his contract is up after this year. Maybe they couldn't/wouldn't pay him what he wants.

Martellus is a better version of Cook, IMO. Rodgers seemed to really like Cook when he was in the lineup, I think a good receiving TE could wreak havoc with Rodgers throwing him the ball regularly.

Bennett will make Packers fans forget all about Cook. It sounds like Cook was adamant on his asking price and Ted the right thing by going for the better bet at TE. Bennett will thrive with Rodgers throwing him the ball.

Bennett is a personality and we know how Rodgers feels about those types.

Just hope that relationship is as good as Bennett and Brady's was and they let Bennett be Bennett.
