I generally agree, people just want honesty and transparency typically.

But it’s Martellus’ health. If he wants to play through pain, he can choose to do so. If he wants to get season ending surgery, that’s his decision as well. The medical staff can’t tell him he has to play.

So it doesn’t matter whether he wanted to play on a team on a sinking ship or not. The injury is there — he doesn’t want to forgo surgery for a few more months to play on a losing team. The opportunity to play with NE and win another championship? Suddenly that pain seems a lot more bearable.

I’d understand being upset as a Packers fan, but telling a guy he needs to play through injury isn’t anyone’s place but the player.

I’m actually interested to see if this leads to other stories of pushback by a team to play through an injury. I mean, we just saw Russ Wilson go in to the concussion tent for .5 seconds. These teams don’t really care about their players health so it’s up to the player to protect themselves.

Sounds like you are taking Bennetts opinion over former and current Packer players.

Jordy doesn't get on pulpit for anything. If Jordy states something, everyone listens, especially since he has experienced a couple of different serious injuries while playing for the Packers.

If you are not a employee of the team, if you just follow the team by reading books by former players or read the articles each week during the season and off-season, you know that Dr. McKenzie and the Packers play the conservative game when it comes to injuries.

Chiefs release DT Roy Miller. He was arrested last weekend on a domestic violence (dragging his wife by the hair, tearing a braid from her head and nearly ripping off her shirt) related charges.

The length didn't bother me.

Dorsey’s first move as Cleveland GM is to waive WR Kenny Britt.

Speaking of Dorsey, like the hire. His departure from KC reeked of a power struggle lost. The word was he was too hands on and didn’t delegate to his people enough.

Seems they’re following up a numbers guy with a personnel guy. I want to say this should work, but Cleveland has been a graveyard for all execs forever so I’ll just say it’s a good move.

For the 4th time this season the Chiefs signed RB CJ Spiller.

And he’s was released by them again today, lol.

And he’s now back with the Chiefs for the 5th time this season.
