Thinking about it, it's a decent amount to give up but I love it. So excited for Russell to have an actual left tackle again.

Jeremy Lane failed his physical with Houston, per source. Trade now amended: Duane Brown and a 2018 5th for Seattle’s 2018 3rd and 2019 2nd.

It wasn’t one of those press releases that was one paragraph wishing the player well in his future endeavors. He went on about he spent every day working with him and was just very positive. As I said on Twitter when I saw the post, it was probably the most positive I’ve heard Bill talk about a player he just shipped off.

I was already feeling good about the trade; this makes me feel even better.

Huge bummer, both because of losing higher picks and because Jeremy Lane is back on the roster. Certainly an even better deal now for the Texans than it was before. Overall still fine with it because Duane Brown fills such a need.

Maybe this sparks the offense, but with Cam's emotional swings, I have a feeling he's going to collapse and the season will be completely dependent on the defense; moreso than it already is.
Yeah, I can't say I understand this, either. Hopefully, it'll work out but I don't understand it on the surface, at least.

Good, I didn't want Lane anyway. He's proven himself to be a dirty player.

And Olsen is their best receiver I think, I meant WR’s though.

He was the 3rd leading receiver on the team..... He was behind a rookie RB. They obviously feel he isn't what he was and this year there isn't much to argue against that.

I actually like the Miami deal. I'm not sure they could have gotten back much more than a 4th for a guy who doesn't stand out in the most replaceable position. It's a good shock move for a team that needs a wake up call.

I like it from Philly's end as well. Although I am interested in how this plays with Blount.

I mainly see Barner and Smallwood losing most of their carries. I can still see Blunt getting 15 carries a game. From what I heard, Ajayi is a good pass protector, so he can be a good 3rd down option. So i think him and Blunt can mainly split carries. Both of them rely on getting volume carries to be effective.

Packers tried signing Hoyer before he signed with NE.

Nah, they needed a veteran to back up the QB of the future.

The crazy thing is Kelvin Benjamin has almost as many yards and receptions personally as the whole Bills WR corps.
