Re: 2017 Transaction Thread
Yea that’s the implication, Kraft made the final call on the QB situation. He wasn’t going to allow Bill trade to TB and wasn’t going to allow Bill to franchise Jimmy. And Jimmy was not interested in a bridge deal. Bill was in love with Jimmy G. You could hear during his press conference earlier today. It wasn’t one of those press releases that was one paragraph wishing the player well in his future endeavors. He went on about he spent every day working with him and was just very positive. As I said on Twitter when I saw the post, it was probably the most positive I’ve heard Bill talk about a player he just shipped off.

I was already feeling good about the trade; this makes me feel even better.Comment

Re: 2017 Transaction Thread
Huge bummer, both because of losing higher picks and because Jeremy Lane is back on the roster. Certainly an even better deal now for the Texans than it was before. Overall still fine with it because Duane Brown fills such a need.Comment

Re: 2017 Transaction Thread
Yeah I don't know what's going on. I guess they want to give Russell Shepard more PT or maybe even Kaelin Clay.
This organization is a joke though. You fire the most successful GM the team has had in a decade, bring back the guy that put you in cap hell in the first place, then trade away one of your few offensive threats when the offense has been a big pile of **** for 6 of the 8 games.
Maybe this sparks the offense, but with Cam's emotional swings, I have a feeling he's going to collapse and the season will be completely dependent on the defense; moreso than it already is.Comment

Good, I didn't want Lane anyway. He's proven himself to be a dirty player.Comment

Re: 2017 Transaction Thread
So you wanna make it worse? I mean if you’re in rebuilding mode then sure go ahead. But the Panthers have an MVP at QB and are trying to win a Super Bowl this season. Benjamin is a good player and I think their issues are deeper than just him not playing well or whatever it is that’s going on over there.
And Olsen is their best receiver I think, I meant WR’s though.

Re: 2017 Transaction Thread
I actually like the Miami deal. I'm not sure they could have gotten back much more than a 4th for a guy who doesn't stand out in the most replaceable position. It's a good shock move for a team that needs a wake up call.
I like it from Philly's end as well. Although I am interested in how this plays with Blount.Comment

Re: 2017 Transaction Thread
The crazy thing is Kelvin Benjamin has almost as many yards and receptions personally as the whole Bills WR corps.
One team’s trash is another’s treasure.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds
