Re: 2017 Transaction Thread
Am I the only one who feels like the Patriots are able to give less for more in trades than anyone else in the league?

Re: 2017 Transaction Thread
I feel like Bill wears one of those mind control cards like the Mad Hatter from Batman under that hoodie and he meets up with other coaches and GMs and slips them on them once he decides he's found someone/something he wants to trade for lol

Re: 2017 Transaction Thread
Also with the Patriots trading pick 32 to the Saints to get Cooks, they could essentially recoup that pick in a Garoppolo trade, get the Browns 2nd (pick 33) and more.Favorite Teams:
NCAA- University of Illinois Fighting Illini
NFL- Cleveland Browns
MLB- St. Louis Cardinals
NBA- Boston Celtics
NHL- Chicago Blackhawks

I'm not even a huge NFL fan and I know the Saints just sent a gift to the patriots.

Re: 2017 Transaction Thread
He was great in the SB... but do you remember him doing anything all of this season? He lost the starting job and ended up with 5 sacks. With Peppers, Addison, Johnson, and Horton, he essentially became the 5th guy in the DE rotation. I read something that they were just going to cut him if they couldn't trade him. Maybe he becomes something in NE, but I think the trade was ultimately worth it.Last edited by Jr.; 03-10-2017, 11:24 PM.Comment

Your logic (that and the article you read) though makes sense.

Re: 2017 Transaction Thread
Wasn't Cooks complaining about his touches in NO while playing in the most pass happy Offenses in the league?
If that's the case, how is he going to be happy in NE since Belichick isn't going to give a damn how many times you've touched the ball?

I can't see a scenario in which Brady doesn't feed him.

Re: 2017 Transaction Thread
Chad had trouble picking up the offense. He was never where he was supposed to when he was supposed to there. Brady won't feed you if that's the case. But yeah, touches could be a problem for this group.
