You'll like what Mike Pereira has to say on this - https://twitter.com/i/status/1437810395490705422

He didn't have to walk over a player and into an offensive lineman to try to 'walk away' (tripped up or otherwise). The first frame of the clip literally starts with him on 2 feet on the other side of CEH having just stood up from the tackle. Whether he tried to step on him or not, he could have easily walked almost literally any other direction other than over the player on the ground. 45 walks behind him, so even with his foot in the air or tripped up he could have gone to his left. For some reason he decided to put all his weight on his right foot and face-plant into Humphrey.

Everyone else in the frame in red is going to help the RB on the ground, a simple step backwards or to the side and he'd have been out of all the post-play action. IMO this is especially apparent in the other angle.

Harrison definitely was being a little showy with his exit from the area (though I don’t think the cleating was intentional), but I thought the KC OL handled it and other players would’ve finished the job that Lewis did. I’m with Mike on coaches shoving players and only one guy being truly disciplined for it being a bad look, even with the circumstances leading up to it. Harrison probably deserved the shove, but you leave that up to the players to police and officials to judge. That’s why I’m most shocked. Lewis got to get his shot in but then he gets protected by the “just a coach” shield — not by him personally mind you, he appeared sheepish after the fact and probably expected to be tossed. If it was a bench player, I think things would be different, ejections and fines for all. I don’t like the league going out of its way to protect personnel when they stepped over the line in the first place, regardless of Harrison’s initial actions. Their memo appears to be their discipline levied in regards to the coach. I think we mainly diverge on standards applied to players and to coaches/personnel.
