This was the big concern that largely went unmentioned after the injuries to the RBs -- the ability for these off the street guys to pick up the rush.

                  What an outrageous ending.

Watched the end of it on the Peyton/Eli broadcast. I'm a big fan of that. Well done ESPN

That finish, wow. I watched most of the 4th and OT with the Mannings. Really liked their broadcast tbh.

You know how you introduce a friend to your favorite TV show and get really happy when they enjoy it, like it fills you with joy that they are entertained?

Yeah? Well football ain't like that. I'm not filled with joy right now.

Credit to the Raiders defense. They were good when they needed to be. But Carr was lethal down the stretch. Just completely locked in. Got his Brady on.

Carr is such an enigma. Is he really good or is he just gonna get you to the second round and out? (Or can he even get you there... because he hasn’t yet).

He makes a lot of money but not really when you consider he’s a decent QB and most guys under him are on their rookie contracts. The Raiders are “stuck” with him, but they probably shouldn’t feel too bad about the marriage. Depends how you view it. Is success championships and nothing else or is it building back up a beleaguered franchise? That’s the modern day NFL conundrum. Is it okay to be good, or do you have to be great for it to matter?

I really enjoyed Peyton and Eli. Both entertaining and insightful. It felt like I was sitting in the living room at the Manning's watching a game. Maybe it is because I am old, but I would much rather that that having someone like Gus Johnson or Joe Tessitore screaming at me for 3 hours. On the game winning pass Eli casually says "Got him......There you go".

He’s in that middle ground where he’s not a top tier QB, but you could do a lot worse. You end up with no choice but to give him a big contract or risk having a QB situation like the Bears or Washington
