I really struggle to see how the Ravens score consistently in this game.

    28 -14 Broncos

My thoughts too. Ravens moving Oher to the right side of the line is curious. That plays directly into the Broncos' hands. Miller should have big day.

95-96 Broncos, meet the 2012-2013 Broncos.

Beginning of the end for Bailey. Broncos will look to draft another CB and a safety in the draft. And likely a running back who can actually block, run, and stay healthy. I loved Moreno all year, so I won't knock him down, but the kid cannot stay healthy when we need him. It's clear to me the recent workload wore him down, and he got hurt. I think the kid worked tirelessly to get to where he is, but he's snake-bitten. Tough luck, kid.

I get what you meant, but I think it was the '96-'97 Broncos.

This one is going to sting for awhile.

Something was wrong. Either Manning couldn't throw the ball downfield or the play calling was just too conservative. They played like they were scared to lose. They played too tight.

I hate to complain about the officiating, but they were horrible. I guess I have no real understanding of the 'tuck rule'. That was a joke.

It's rather ironic that the one guy we were scared about the most as far as making mistakes and fumbling te game away turned out to be the brightest star, while the two elder statesmen had arguably their worst games of the year.

Moore...what can you say? It looked like he had too much time to think about what he was doing. Shades of Deltha O'Neil, but much worse.

The thing that scared me the most about going into the postseason was the fact that the Broncos hadn't lost in such a long time, I couldn't complain about it since they got the number one seed because of it, but it was troubling to me.

They played yesterday like they forgot what it was like to lose and that a win would just somehow happen.

I was scared going into that game and justifiably so. Even some of the predictions from us in this thread is what was scaring me, it was like EVERYONE, not just fans was looking past the Ravens and focusing on next week.

But either way, it was a fun season with a bitter end, we don't always get along in here but we all want the same thing.

For those of us that are Avalanche fans, a season begins (I really could have used an Avs game last night to avert my attention from this!).

Don't get too disapointed the team grew a lot this year, and it looks like we will lose McCoy (thank god) and keep Del Rio (thank god).

As long as Peyton doesn't suddenly decide to retire and Champ moves to safety, things are looking up for the Broncos.

I think the schedule hurt us. It was how we were winning. We didn't have to win a close game in forever. We're used to wrapping up the game by the 3rd quarter.

Bailey moving to safety would make a lot of sense. And after an offseason, Harris and Carter may be ready to fully shoulder the load. They did amicably this year.

Plenty to be excited about for next year! Manning will have an entire offseason with the receiving corps, we have two amazing young WRs, the defense will have the same defensive coordinator, and more.

Questions linger: Kuper's future? MLB? DT? RB? I already cannot wait for the draft.

And yeah, Kehlis, for me it was several beers.

I agree with both of you. Saturday night I didn't know what to do with myself. It was over. Just like that. Over. None of us were ready for that. I couldn't get the 'what if's' out of my head...

I couldn't even watch football yesterday. I went skiing instead.

I have no regrets for this season. It was fun, and they have a lot to build on for next season. I would love to see Champ move to safety, but he has said repeatedly that he will never do it. He has to, or he's got to play nickel. I agree 86, Harris and Carter are ready to step in as the starting corners. I am very excited about those guys.

Here's a rare positive article for moving forward:

                  Re: Official Denver Broncos Thread

I honestly think the big difference between last year and this year is no one expected the Broncos to defeat the Steelers, so anything on top of that was gravy. Most folks expected the Broncos to knock off the Ravens and maybe even the Pats, so a loss at this juncture was unexpected. Throw in the way it happened and it's down right shocking.

So...McCoy is finally gone. Off to the Chargers. I still think this is a good thing for Denver.

Who do you guys want to see as the new OC? Tom Moore? Norv Turner? Adam Gase?

I wonder how Tom Moore would work out and where his drive is at right now.

Adam Gase for me, as long as Peyton is there we just need someone to put together his game plan.

I want an OC who will bring some aggression to the offense and actually draw up plays that stretch the field. I'm tired of 5 yard outs all game long.

What about Dabid Cutliffe from Duke? He wa Peyton's OC in college. I don't know if you could easily court him from Duke, hes signed until something like 2020.

He wasn't fired, his contract was up and it wasn't renewed which wasn't a secret to anyone involved apparently since Del Rio has wanted to bring in his old DB coach from JAX.

Anyone Del Rio thinks is right is good by me. I want guys that buy into what Del Rio is selling. Especially when I hear that the DBs themselves weren't really thrilled with the past coach.

In other news, Tom Moore made sure the public was aware that he's in the market for an O-Coordinator job. Good timing, if you ask me.
