Man I really hope not (with regards to losing Brock).

I can see it though I guess, I think he probably wants to stay in Denver but if the money elsewhere is too big compared to what Denver can afford I guess I wouldn't fault him.

Either way, I guess we should bask in the victory. This team has made a Super Bowl every 5 years on average since Bowlen became owner (and since '77 if you use that arbitrary endpoint). Even when we lose, it's great to be a fan of an organization that is regularly excellent.

I see it going either way. On one hand, Osweiler was steady enough during the stretch to show promise. On the other, people will say he's had 4 years in and should have displayed more.

With the latter, I think it's hard to judge because of offensive line this year. Elway & Co. might believe Osweiler will perform better with upgrades on the offensive line (returning Clady potentially and Sambrailo from injury). They're in a good position though, they were able to play him in games which still had a major impact on their playoff chase.

His market will be really interesting to watch. Some team could absolutely love him and pay a ton (Browns?). With Elway, they like to see what the market decides for the player value and go from there

I gotta say that I'm disappointed that we as a community here in Denver don't seem very upset about Talibs antics.

Maybe once the Super Bowl honeymoon is over I'll see more people addressing it, hopefully. He's a grade A punk.

            From Klis:

            Up next

Manning said following the parade Tuesday that he and a bunch of teammates were going out to dinner on Tuesday night. Starting Wednesday, the Broncos’ players, coaches and executives will be on vacation.

Elway and Kubiak will return to work in time for the NFL scouting combine that begins Feb. 22, or two weeks from the parade.

It will be during the combine that the Broncos are expected to get serious in attempting to negotiate contract extensions for quarterback Brock Osweiler and defensive end Malik Jackson.

Those two are the team’s most immediate contract priorities as it is certain to slap Von Miller with a franchise tag between Feb. 16 and March 1.

Also, the more I think about the more "weird" I feel about Peyton using that "profound sports legacy" moment to kiss Papa John on the cheek and shill beer.

I mean, more power to him, make that money, but I dunno. Just seemed, unnatural, in that moment

Surprised this forum is so quiet!!!

In all seriousness tho, we should all be jumping all over what could come/has come so far this off-season.

So far I am slightly disapointed in who we have gotten so far. I like Leary, but a little confused and disapointed with Peko. Is Elway hoping Peko performs like his former self? Or is he just hoping he gets consistent penetration?

I read somewhere that Peko doesn't get a lot of sacks, and i don't understand why that would matter anyway? I played NT and a 4-3 tackle and my job was just to eat blocks and let guys around me do the dirty work. But, thats high school ball i guess.

In regards to Romo, what hasnt been said yet? Do I want him? A little piece of me wants to see him behind center, but then a larger part says no cause Lynch isnt ready to play full time if he goes down.

The business side of me says do it. Do it and trade Trevor to a team that's willing to overpay for him in the form of draft picks. if the Bears will back up a bank truck for Glennon, who is to say someone wont give a 3rd round pick for him. (Looking at you New York Jets)

The Broncos don't need sacks, they need stuffers who can stop the run.

No thanks to Romo, and that's not a knock against him. I just want them to move on and with what they have at QB at this point.

I look at Peko and Edebali as "Moneyball" type picks. Both players are Elway type guys: high character/high motor, at a cap-friendly price.

Personally, I am anti-Romo simply because I think at this current time a Siemian is the same QB as Romo, sans experience, at a tremendously lower price tag. I want to see if #13 can progress and/or if Lynch can push to be the starter, for at least this year. This time next year if the same QB scenario exists, then it will be academic what needs to be done.

It is easy to be underwhelmed by what has taken place thus far. I sure thought a bigger splash would have happened addressing the offensive line. That offensive line needs more than a Ron Leary addition, to say the least.

I love, LOVE the Leary signing

like the Peko addition quite a bit. We need stronger inside presence against the run. Sylvester Williams was a bust and Jared Crick just isn't the guy to start opposite Wolfe. Gotsis seems like a big project.

Seems like all the talk around here recently has gone from us needing to draft Christian M. to now saying we need to draft Cam Robinson.

The Romo thing, if he will sign for 12 mill or less I wouldn't hate the signing. Assuming he's released, that is. I don't see us trading for him under any circumstance. The QB situation here has me concerned. I think Trevor is a really good backup, and I think Paxton needs a lot more time in the oven. However, we traded up to draft Paxton in the 1st, seems inevitable that he's gonna get his turn. Whenever that happens there's gonna be growing pains no matter what. I kind of wish we gave him more time last season, especially with the final game. I didn't like how Kubiak handled that.

Seems like letting Okung hit market has backfired. We misread the market on him just like we misread the market on CJ Anderson last year. If Sambrailo or Schofield are one of our starting tackles next season I think that's an issue. Stephenson is already a liability at whatever side they put him this season.

I would like us to shore up some talent at TE, slot WR, and inside linebacker in the draft
