I'm meh about the QB spot, I'm not sold on any of the prospects. Don't care for Rosen, Darnold don't wow me, I love Allen's cannon but he is innacurate, OK with Mayfield but he has his own issues. And Jackson probably is out of the question. So I mean I would be fine with Barkley, Nelson, Edmunds, or Chubb. Or just trade back with the Bills who seem desperate to get into the top 5 and stockpile some draft picks and pick up some extra lineman and some linebackers and a corner maybe. Idk, I just don't want to fall into the category of since Eli is old and Webb didn't play that we NEED a Quarterback. Put a good offensive line around any QB and he is going to look good, especially with the weapons we have. So give Webb a chance IMO. He, to me, has got all the same things character wise that Eli has and that is hard to find, especially when looking at this draft class.

IMO, if you have a chance to get a potential franchise QB, you grab him, because you might not be in that position for a long time. And I don't want to be in QB hell like the Jets, Bills or Dolphins, going through one mediocre QB after another. Yeah, these young cats in the draft have flaws, so it's up to the staff to coach them up.

IMO, if you have a chance to get a potential franchise QB, you grab him, because you might not be in that position for a long time. And I don't want to be in QB hell like the Jets, Bills or Dolphins, going through one mediocre QB after another. Yeah I suppose, but if they aren't sold on one you don't take one period. That puts you in worse position, stuck with mediocrity. I am convinced Webb, if they give him the opportunity, will turn out to be a really good player for us. But that's even if they give him a shot. I love the signings of Solder and Martin, and also Ogletree. Helps immensly on both sides of the ball. I also think Stewart will be a great veteran presence but I don't think he is the lead back week 1, I still see us taking Barkley if he is there which I think he will be with the signing of Hydw by the Browns

Omameh is another Hog Mollie that Gettleman has been talking about. Finally the O-Line is being addressed. He should at least be given credit for that

I really have to LOL @ the gasbag callers on WFAN that want to trade OBJ for his antics. Yeah, he's an immature kid who does dumb s*** at times. But as far as I know, he hasn't broken the law. Many of these haters are the same ones who give Lawrence Taylor standing O's, and LT was doing worst stuff than OBJ ever did.


Tomorrow's one of the biggest nights in Giants history since they drafted Eli. Hopefully Gettleman does the right thing (long term) and sets us up at QB for the next decade.

Just makes me laugh. And I hope we take Barkley, as much as people hate that, I think Webb is legit, even though he hasn't played much and was drafted by McAdoodledoo. I just have that feeling

Drafting Darnold would have been the smarter move.

Nope, I was saying that even before the draft. I was in the minority who didn't want Barkley. It was more important for the Giants to set themselves up post-Eli, than going for the quick fix.

I'm ok with the route they took. They rolled the dice and unfortunately it's not working. I'm glad they have Saquon and hopefully they hit on a QB next year.
