Wow. Montreal just snatched up game 1 on an OT winner from Plekanec. Talk about parity so far...

Damn, oh well. Caps played great in the first period but then faded off, Halak was excellent. Still not really concerned.

I would be. Not because your team is down 0-1 but because your best player isn't 100%.

Lol that had nothing to do with it. Maybe if you actually looked, you would see he didn't have the same speed he usually has. He seemed to be skating less than full speed most of the time, which is unlike Ovechkin.

They were saying on the TSN broadcast that Ovechkin's trainer from Russia is with him right now and that he usually only comes over when he has an injury of some sort.

I won't deny that he looked awful tonight, but he's looked this way for what seems like weeks. He's playing differently after the suspensions and everything. He's going more east-west rather than north-south. Part of that is teams stepping up and swarming him like crazy. I think he'll be fine.

If he's hurt, we're in trouble, but nothing from tonight made me think that he is.

There's 2 guys sitting right beside the Kings penalty box in green full body suits moving around like mimes.

Seems to me i remember hearing about those guys. Think there regulars and maybe even travel around to other rinks.
