Unbelievable game last night between the Preds and Ducks.

I thought for sure the Predators had given yet another playoff game away, but then Weber makes an incredible shot to tie it up. And then the Ducks defense fails to cover the slot for the OT game-winner.

I was watching it at a bar with some buddies, and the room was full of obscenities after that 3rd goal, but then the place exploded when Weber tied it up with 30 seconds left.

Basically, what Chicago did to Nashville in game 5 last year, the Predators just did to the Ducks.

Hopefully Nashville can close the deal Sunday at Bridgestone.

I like these early games. I would rather have these early starts than to wait all day for a 10 PM game.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining.

Great passing play by the Lightning there. The first shot was in.

And another. What a disastrous ending to the 1st for the Pens.

What the hell? Clear him out of the crease. Don't let him just sit there.

Maybe it is a bit too early. The crowd noise is like night and day compared to the Philly game.

I'm with JJLinn, I don't like Leighton in net. I'm much MUCH more comfortable with Boucher. He let in a softy, then let in a fluky goal, then was the victim of the 4 on 3. I think pulling him was good because it gave the team a spark, but I think he should be back in in Game 6. You could see how absolutely frustrated he was, I really felt awful for him.

Leighton does not impress me, at all. I don't know how in the world he got so hot last year, he just seems so shaky to me. I don't recall any good chances on him, the team picked it up, he just kept them in it. When they said he was 18/18 saves heading into OT, I was like, "What?" Didn't realize they had that many shots at all. We carried the play from the 2nd on.

Go with Bouch in Game 6, Laviolette. Please!

This is turning into a laugher now.

How many times are the Pens going to allow players to just have a picnic in front of their keeper?

He kind of got screwed over. Lead the team all year as a rookie, your team gets shutout and you allow just 1 goal, then you go a little soft and you're not even dressing anymore? Raw deal in my opinion. Leighton should've been the odd man out. I've seen the revolving door at goalie, but it's typically starter and backup. Not starter, backup, and guy who was in the AHL all year.

I think it should be Boucher-Bobrovsky, and Leighton should be watching from the stands. I appreciate everything he did for us last year and in the playoffs, but damn man, there's a reason he's a relative journeyman.

                          What. The. ****.

                          *pretending this game never happened*

I think the Flyers should go out and make a deal for an established goalie in the offseason. I know the point will probably be brought up that they got to the Cup Final without an established goalie and Chicago won with Niemi, but I think a team like Philly that has a history of revolving goalie doors could really use that.

Or just live & die with a guy like Bobrovsky since he's a rookie and was impressive all season. Why would you start him all year only to pull him? I know he gave up a few softies but that happens sometimes. He screws up one game and he's not even dressing for the team anymore? The Flyers do it to themselves, sometimes.

Who's on the market that's a premiere goalie, though? We have stupid ridiculous depth so if we're ever going to go out and get a guy, this would be the time. It'll be tough to part with a guy like JVR, though. He'd likely be in the package, I assume.

I don't know, I don't even think the goalie situation is that bad. We're getting beat by Ryan Miller, not because of our goalie, in my opinion.

I'm assuming the Flyers don't have much cap space to spend on free agents this offseason?
