Man, it's unbelievable how well you know your stuff.
Looking at those last few paragraphs touching on what the fans/media are going to say if Vancouver loses this series, labeling the Sedins and/or Luongo chokers and whatever else, I just wonder what would happen in the offseason if they bomb Game 7. I don't think they blow the team up or anything, especially when you factor in that they just made so many changes last offseason, but would that be it for Lu as a Canuck? I have to think so.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

A couple things:
1) I'm really happy for Barry Trotz and the Nashville Predators. Trotz is a stand up guy and it shows the class of that organization keeping him around after all these years. I hope they have it in them to go another round.
2) Man, when I saw Cory Schneider go down I said "that's it Vancouver's done". I will give Vancouver credit though they dominated the play like nobody's business tonight but Game Sevens are always a bit scary no matter what. If Luongo lays an egg on Tuesday I could see the fans booing the entire Canucks squad out of the building.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Who's going to take on his contract?Comment

The Canucks could waive his contract but that'd be a really expensive option. I think if the 'nucks blow Game 7 the casualty will be Vigneault whether he deserves it or not is up to you to decide.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: The Official 2010-11 Stanley Cup Playoffs Talk Thread
lol.. winky winky.. its obvious you watch about 5 Pens games a year. Sid moaned and groaned in his rookie year, bad rap etc. (same old same)
then Richards, moans and groans to the media about Sid moaning and groaning on the ice a few years back.
you NEVER heard Sid moaning and groaning to the media..
now, all you see is Richards moaning and groaning on the ice and off the ice.. go back and listen to his post games this year after losses etc. eff'in hilarious!! biggest piss baby in the league, and he is the Flyers captain? c'mon son!! they need to take a look at that, bc he is not captain material with how he been acting and playing.. esp as DaFlyBoys stated!!
heck, Richards always in the middle of these type of hits.. where there is smoke, there is fire. he just a dirty player!!Twitch

If the Canucks lose on Tuesday, they're just going to have to suck it up, endure everybody's ridicule and doubts, enter the playoffs in 2012 or 2013 as a 3/4 seed, somewhat under the radar, pray they don't meet Chicago, and hope for the best.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. I was thinking about that, but you don't think there would be a team desperate enough for a good goalie, let alone the caliber of Luongo (ignoring the Chicago history here)?
I don't know if a team like Philly would be a viable option because they're basically at the cap ceiling, but I'm pretty sure they'd have enough nice pieces to make a legitimate offer as well as being able to match salary with Luongo's deal.
Or there could be a young up and coming team with cap space that could use an established goalie. Maybe Edmonton for example?
But I'm getting ahead of things here. Even though Vancouver basically has to climb the Rocky Mountains here, I think they can still pull it off.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Course, that's not likely to happen but personally I think it would be best.
I wonder if some fans would advocate breaking up the Sedins?Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: The Official 2010-11 Stanley Cup Playoffs Talk Thread
You know as well as I do that the media scrutiny and the fans are going to make that nearly impossible. I kinda think the best thing to happen to the Canucks should they lose on Tuesday is to miss the playoffs altogether next year and get in the following year as a 3/4 seed.
Course, that's not likely to happen but personally I think it would be best.
I wonder if some fans would advocate breaking up the Sedins?
Also, anyone that would call for the Sedins to be traded or broken up would need to be slapped in the face. Multiple times.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

If this were Toronto the vast majority of fans would be talking that way, which doesn't speak well to Maple Leafs fans' intelligence LOLMember of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
