Who's been a bigger disappointment this year, Washington or LA?

Washington easily IMO.

They've been contenders for the past, what, 3-4 years now? And they've disappointed in just about all of their playoff appearances during that period. Add to the fact they have what used to be the second-best player in the league not producing as well as he should either (it was only a couple seasons ago Ovechkin was potting 60+ goals) and that just solidifies it for me.

With LA, they haven't really established any dominance yet like Washington had. They were still an up-and-coming team up until about the start of last season I guess.

I generally don't get too excited for a game in Feb but I did a little fist pump when Burrows scored in the SO.

The Canucks/Wings game deserves to be the ESPN Sportscenter game of the night although I'm sure they will choose the lopsided Heat/Knicks game instead.

Had to end some time...I sort of knew it would be at the hands of the 'Nucks tonight. Now that that's over with, time to focus on the real issues with the Wings: why are we such a bad road team, and why are our special teams so terrible?

Damn if the Jets didn't try their best to blow that 4-0 lead last night. I had a good feeling something like that was going to happen. Thankfully they held on and got the clean win to avoid giving Tampa a point.

Over the last 2 seasons, Calgary has paid Matt Stajan 9 million dollars to score 8 goals in 116 games. The Flames also gave Stajan a NTC.
