Moving on from that, I can't believe how little the Blues have been getting talked about. They're 2 points out of 1st place in the entire league, they've allowed the second-least amount of goals in the league, and they're a beastly 26-4-4 on home ice. I had them as my "darkhorse" term last season but they fell flat. I definitely didn't expect them to be this good this year.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. The Leafs can't seem to get this playing well for a whole season thing right. They only seem to be capable of doing well during the first half or second half, but not decent all the way through.
For once I feel like Toronto fans are less deluded about the quality of this team and its coach than the general manager.Comment

I know Cloutier is terrible—I mean I know this, but didn't Cloutier have some decent numbers with the Canucks for a couple years? Though, I suppose there is that whole thing about him losing it in the playoffs, and that Lidstrom goal. Kind of reminds me of a poor man's Luongo.Comment

I give Luongo more credit than that. Pretty difficult for a starter to play 90% of his games in the heart of the DPE and put up a career .899 SV%, but Cloutier somehow managed. Roberto Luongo? Cloutier was more like a poor man's Roman Cechmanek.Last edited by DrJones; 02-28-2012, 09:27 PM.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. I'm pretty convinced that every time Bryz has a good game the rest of the team purposely doesn't score goals so he can remain the scapegoat.*

It's so frustrating. They've completely stopped skating and moving the puck. Right now their offensive gameplan seems to be telegraphing shots from the point (which get blocked half the time) or throwing the puck at the net from bad angles hoping they get lucky.Comment

Mike Milbury and Jeremy Roenick don't like each other.

Yes, Mike Milbury, keep doing things like this until you get fired.
