The problem hasn't been Sacco at all and like he has done before, he made some great adjustments tonight to get them back in it.

I'll disagree there, players weren't even trying their hardest when the game started. They were getting outworked by Islanders.

Don't disagree, why do you feel this was because of Sacco though?

We're always quick to blame coaches when the players are the ones at fault, the way the Avs have played since starting hot make it hard for me to blame Sacco at all.

Just seems like he lost the team. Last game vs Detroit, I think it was the first time Stastny not giving his best effort. Even in the awful stretch last year, he tried. When Sacco called the TO earlier in the game, he wasn't the one that was talking to the team. It was Shane O'Brien that was yelling at the team....

Anyways, Landeskog looks really good.

That's still not going to help the delay situation. And are there really that less goals overall even with the bigger pads? They have to do something. Hell, they instituted the changes that they did regarding delayed off-sides and the elimination of the 2 line pass along with the inclusion of the trapezoid so that the game would move along faster. They won't tolerate this.

I feel bad for all the CBJ fans. I don't blame the fans for not showing up to watch a crappy product. I know a lot of Canadian hockey fans and media are going to jump in and say Columbus doesn't deserve a team.

Scott Howson is the new John Fergunson Jr.

I wouldn't mind seeing Nash in a Canucks uni. My trade proposal that would never happen is : Raymond, Booth, Schneider, and a 1st round pick for Nash.

It's always easier to blame the coach.

I actually like the fact he let a player speak up during a timeout, it shows he understands what his players need to hear.

And Stastny not playing hard is not a result of Sacco's coaching, it's a result of Stastny's play.

Well, that will just about do it. 3-0 Sharks late in the 2nd. Not much to say about this one so far. The better team is winning at home and making it look easy. The run had to end sometime.

Then, I guess I'll talk about his system.The "dump and chase" doesn't work but for some reason he doesn't change it. He gets outcoached a lot too. Also not a fan of his healthy scratches decision as you can tell from my Galiardi and McClement rant
