well im still waiting to see something out of her to live up to all of this hype. i reailze that she is still VERY young, but if she doesnt make a cut be the time she is 18-19 i dont see how she will ever get to the level that she is supposed to be at. Her biggest attribute for a woman is her power, and apparently she drives the ball 300yds but so far hes driving distance in any mens tourney she has entered as been somewhere in the bottom half of the tournament stats for that week.

I like Michelle Wie. I don't understnad why you guys are so opposed to women being on the PGA Tour... It's not the MPGA tour, like the LPGA tour is (which is completely bogus IMO).

The thing is, I dont have a problem with Sorenstam trying her hand at the PGA tour, because she has proved thru years of dominating the LPGA that she can compete at a higher level.

Maybe Wie should wait to actually win a womens tour event before going to the next level.

Because it's for men, not women. Women have their own tour.

Just like women have the WNBA.

They should stay out of mens leagues/groups/organizations.

So if women have the skills to play with the men, they're supposed to just sit in "their" league and deal with it?

They already have. Why can't we just have one league so we can tell where everyone stands?

I don't understand why we need a division. Women can compete with the guys.

So should everyone who shot worse that Wie not be allowed to play? She rebounded well on her 2nd round and shot better than many other players.

Wie is 16 years old and shot a 68 after embarrassingherself thefirst day. She will make the cut on a PGA event and dominant the LPGA very soon. 16 years old, wow. If you got it, use it, no matter what people who don't have it may say.

Hmm... sounds like something else...

actually neither of these women have proved that they have the skills to play with the men. wie places near last every time and annika was off the cut by quite a few strokes. so until a woman qualifys for a pga event i really dont see why they should be let on because they have proved that they cant compete
