For me, it was grip strength and then forearm exercises/stretches (plus of course just some rest to reset things first). There's plenty of routines you can find, probably more even that are golf-specific, but this video was something I started with way back when.

I write it, and it hits your inbox every Friday morning (for freeeeeee). We also have an official OS Discord you can now join. -

Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!
I've had quite some experience with this... tennis elbow then golfer's elbow in my right arm, then tennis elbow in my left arm, all over the course of 3 years. The YT therapy videos will certainly help, although you'll have to experiment to find ones that are effective.
The game changer for me was working with a Theraband therapy bar consistently. You basically twist it against resistance like revving a motorcycle. Comes in varying resistance strengths but I ended up going with the strongest one. The pain/discomfort level in using it is high at first, but if you use it consistently (I kept mine at my desk at work as a "fidget tool") it offers relieve short term and a strengthening of the forearm muscles to avoid tendonitis recurrence long term.

Happy holidays to all the hackers here, real and/or virtual!
Here's to everyone being on the nice list...may Santa bring you a new set of irons, a driver, and a dozen Pro V1s.
And as a treat, I hope he leaves some info on new golf video game releases in the early part of the new year!Orbis Non SuficitComment

Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!
Supposed to be in upper 40's and low 50's this weekend. Unfortunately, we are still thawing out from 11 inches of snow and 1/2" of ice.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!
You think you're 2 weeks out from the links in Michigan? I admire your optimism!
Let us know how you like that Elyte driver. If you ever hit the Paradym, I'd be interested in whether you think there's a difference between the 2.Comment

Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!
There's courses in metro Detroit that are opening up this weekend. I need it to dry out a little bit before I'll go out.
I'll want to get some more data with it as the season goes along. But I've played Rogue ST, Paradym, AI Smoke, and now Elyte. I really like Rogue, Paradym I think I just never clicked with. My toe miss was not great with it at all. Smoke was fine. When I was being fit for Elyte, I had one shot that particularly stood out. I hit one off the toe where I thought it had to snap hard left, but it was like a 7-8 yard draw. I was honestly surprised by it. Early testing really likes Elyte. I'll see how she performs during the season.St. Louis Cardinals | Milwaukee Bucks | Los Angeles Rams
