Yeah I got the belt clip as it was half off. I got the sensors and the belt clip for 90 bucks.

I have an Apple Watch Series 7 and the battery is usually pretty good so hopefully that won’t be an issue.

I played 70+ rounds last season so I definitely will get use out of them.

I read the bolded part as "Taking three buddies who've never played before" and thought in regards to your last sentence, that its definitely going to be a hell of a time for them.

      Oh and I am envious.

                  Re: The OS Golfer's Thread!

This past 2 weeks I got our old building torn down and removed.
Had a crew come in to level out land and put down gravel for new concrete pad.
This is for a new building to be a simulator only building.

Took a while to get stuff done as I'm still fighting the knee issues.
Hoping to have everything done within next couple months.
Building is already paid for. Just waiting on me to give them a date.

First round of real golf in 2023 was last night. Nine hole executive course, par 29. Shot 34 with three pars to start the round, and nothing worse than bogey all round long. Not a bad way to knock off the rust!

                      Nicely done!

Hoping for some good scoring this weekend, or at least nothing like last weekend where I was topping my drives and just playing like a high handicapper. If I play my cards right, I could play 3 rounds (once tomorrow, twice on Sunday). Got a tournament for my kids' school next Friday. I'm the soccer coach for all these kids, so I can't embarrass myself in front of their parents lol.

Shot 88 in my first full 18 hole round of 2023 yesterday. Playing another 9 tomorrow. Having snowbird in-laws who spend two months in Florida every year has its benefits!

Knee surgery this Thursday. Should be in and out in just a couple hours.
Cleaning up bone spurs and doing whatever they do with a torn Meniscus..
Looking forward to having no pain and being able to get around better.

Yikes! A single round - especially for a SD County Resident (as you well know) - should be far less than that. I get that the tournament has a lot of other things that need subsidizing, but that is asking a lot for a course that you can probably play for <$100...
