What do you guys use, if any, apps for keeping track of scores or any other type of tech that you use for Android. Used Golfpad for the first time and didn't get too much into it, but just kept track of scores.

I just started using game golf on android (was using another prior) and seems decent. Can view each shot of my round afterwards too.

Also, had a club fitting done earlier this week and just picked up my test clubs. Extra stiff steel shafts as I have quick club head speed and he put a tour extra stiff in my R1 that apparently Tiger uses. Told me not to damage it as it's expensive and now I'm thinking, damn, this isn't going to be cheap if the shaft cost more than a new driver, lol.

Can't wait to test them out though.

You got a Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana Blue Board in your driver? Yeah, that shaft ain't cheap lol. Especially the "real" ones.

currently trying to get a job at a golf course here in town to give me a little bit of an edge, being able to play whenever I want.


Seems like my first time out this year will be in a Best Ball Tourney. Should be some fun though. We'll see how it goes

Game golf now has a compainion app, that you can use with out having your tracking device on your hip (if you forget it or it dies...). Tried it couple weeks ago, biggest hassell is having to always have your phone out and around you. Good idea, but needs work.

My phone doesn't leave golf bag once i'm on the course. Wife knows for those hours I'll be unreachable lol. .
Good to know there's a backup if I do forget again.

Well, apparently lol. I've no idea what shaft Tiger uses but that is what he said. Said Speith uses it in his 3 wood too.

It's a Tour AD DJ 7x or has so written on the shaft. Is that a decent one or is this guy pulling my leg?

Yeah, that's the one.

Have had the flu (man flu) the past few days so have not been able to get out and test it yet. Can't wait though as he said this shaft should allow me to really utilise my club head speed and not hold back.

Christmas in May. My new custom clubs came in today. Heading out to the range and hopefully get a round in tomorrow if it does not rain.

Been hitting my test clubs. Love the new shaft in the R1. I can really let rip and am getting over 300m more often compared to occasionally. Straighter too but I really can't hold back it seems as if I do, I tend to push it. Really need the clubhead speed to get it off correctly.

I'm a little confused on the irons though. I got two test 6 irons and along with my current 6 iron, been alternating all three. Problem is, I'm hitting them all similar which is asking the question, why spend so much money on a new set, lol.

Got much more testing to do but hopefully the irons start to separate themselves a little.

I bought that exact same rangefinder during Boxing Day. I absolutely love the thing. Nice looking clubs too! Are those the RSi 1's?

If you are bombing the driver the 6 iron isn't the club you need to be testing. I'd look to you scoring clubs. 9 iron - wedge to determine where to go.
