    Samsies.

I can't wait for Tiger Woods to flip his **** on 16 when a train rolls through his backswing.

Well, we get 3 British Opens this year. PGA is on Whistling Straits again.

It's funny because I like Whistling Straits, but I am pretty sure I don't care for Chambers Bay.

I don't mind it, seems like it offers some legit challenges on any given day, but for a national audience to see it for the first time hosting the US Open, it really looks like you tuned into The Open Championship. I think the lack of killer rough on a US Open is the most shocking thing for me personally.

Oh and there is a working train that runs along the 16th fairway and is a flop shot away from the right side of the green! I can't wait for Phil to try to play a shot on Saturday or Sunday from those rocks between the tracks.

I think I would like it more if it weren't hosting the US Open. I need trees and 6 inch rough for this tournament.

So I may have been too harsh on Chambers Bay. It actually seems like a pretty chill place....

Trying to remember the last time he gave Jim Gray or whoever a hug like that. Bet Tiger can't wait for his round to be over...

I was just thinking that...who knows, maybe he gives Peter Kostis a huge bear-hug after the cameras go off? They did linger on them for a while after the interview was over...

Can you blame the guy, though?

For those commenting about the greens. There is really no fringe around the greens. The fairways blend into the greens.

Yup, they sure do. Was pretty wild playing this course and having the greens be basically the same as the fairways.

I saw that - the USGA put some white marks on the ground to delineate the fairway/fringe from the putting surface. Although, maybe I'm missing the obvious, but why does it matter (i.e. why does it matter where the green starts and fringe/fairway stops)?

Yeah couple times. Only because I got a chance to play it at a super discounted rate each time. I'm fairly new to golf and not very good so I'm not sure my impressions mean much lol. All I know is I've never played anything like it, never got a good handle on the greens, and was constantly distracted by the views. Also got a par once, so that was fun.

There are many rule changes that depend on whether your ball is on the green or not. One obvious one is you can freely mark and clean your ball.
