As someone who finished everything in TW2003, I have to say that the game actually seems harder to me. Maybe it's because my attributes are at the bottom again, but the analog control feels a little looser, like I can actually hit shots offline now. I was playing bad last night. Again, maybe it's the attributes being low, but I enjoyed it. The wealth of options and modes in the game is great, and the real-time calendar is a fantastic addition. The ability to play tournaments on certain days of the year and win special unlockables (i.e. Haunted Polo shirt on Halloween) is too cool. I'll be playing this game for a long time.

I agree, both my roomate and I finished TW2003 and in our first game last night his driving percentage was around 50%, a lot of shots slightly off to the left or right. Mine was pretty good (well of course since I dominate him in the game) but it seems to be a lot less forgiving if you are slightly off. As far as putting goes it really just takes getting used to - once you get the scale figured out and can eyeball what 1 foot away from the whole looks like you can follow the caddy tips and be an excellent putter.

Last night was my first experience with Tiger and the analog swing system. And using my unskilled created golfer, I found everything to be a challenge. Though putting, I seemed to find the easiest aspect. And that was due to following the caddy tips.
Knowing that a golf hole is 4" to 4.5" inches in diameter, I used that as a scale to help me eyeball distances. Seemed to work pretty well. But when I had to aim 3 feet left and 7 feet past, for example, that was a little tough to do with a single putt.Comment

I agree with you as far as the ball feeling like its getting sucked in the hole. My first round yesterday I hit an eagle from over 100 yards out. It just seems too easy sometimes.Comment

Re: Not Impressed with TW at all
I dare you to find me a console golf game (especially any of the next generation titles) that isn't easy. Once you get used to these games, they're all easy. Even with analog swing, there's only so much off center you could go. Tri click (Hot Shots) is even easier. If you want total realism, get a PC golf game that uses mouse swing. You can't recreate that with a controller.
As I said in another post, maybe it's just the fact that I'm starting over again with low attributes, but this version actually seems a little more difficult than last years. The analog swing seems looser (easier to hit offline).Mario Kart Wii: 1203 9969 5095
