Right. It's certainly not every round, every course...just some seem to be sand-magnets some days. It is more frequent that I fly a longish approach into the greenside bunkers though....fairway bunkers not so much.

It's hard to ever get mad at this game as it's so much more like real life golf and how things go because even pros don't hit perfect shots every time.

The only time I get steamed is putting back and forth because I just can't get the break, even when it's REALLY short...but that's very rare this year compared to say, TW11.

I don't get sometimes I will hit a perfect line and it goes 10 yards to the right into a bunker with no wind, doesn't really make any sense to me at all.

It doesn't make sense to you, me, Phil, Bubba, or Tiger when we do the exact same thing on a real course, either.

Golf has that randomness that dominates it's rare moments of perfection.

I'll offer up a possibility. Maybe your swing line looks awfully close to perfect but its ever so slightly to the right or left or the back swing line is ever so slightly to the right or left.

This is exaggerated if your swing pace or speed isn't perfect. Over swing = loss of accuracy and also equals loss of forgiveness. So if you're like me and have a longer back swing or over swing trying to ensure accuracy if you don't nail it right on the dot it could cost you.

If your accuracy rating is higher and your swing pace is perfect then the slightest bit off might not be that bad but on an over swing it'll show.

Keep in mind any shot that's not level will have movement on it. Always check how ball is sitting in relation to feet.

Also to add... The contact may be off center
I've been burned before early on not paying attention to the lie..above/below feet etc...

              EDIT: Kodiak already said it......

I used to be like you man. What I've realized is that the longer I take when I push my stick back upwards the more times I error to the right or left (usually to the right) when you are at that final end point. It is true though that it doesnt matter how jagged or off your line is as long as you start and end (really end) at that top centered point.

With that said, I've found for myself when I move the stick up really fast, I dont leave myself enough time for my thumb to veer left or right. What this does though is makes my putting speed fast, which actually helps me because when I'm looking at how much to the right or left I need to aim my marker, I can usually keep it relatively close to the hole (maybe like a tiny bit to the left or right) and my putting speed compensates for me not being over to the left or right far enough.

Also for me I have noticed that if I'm looking at my putter and NOT the meter on the left I can more accurate putts. This holds true for me with my driving game as well. I dont look at the meter, I watch my golfer. My line looks like really bad lighting bolts but 9 times out of 10 the end of the stroke is right where its supposed to be on the meter.

At the very least, let us sand lovers be able to unlock some gold plated SW that gives us a +5 accuracy +recovery for winding up in the traps so much.

I put the aiming marker wayyy past the hole. 5-10 ft. This makes your lie/break much less intense on the short putts so you won't have to adjust as far left or right. Just take a short quick back and forward and drill it.

Has anyone tried to go to the Country Club area on the ea website. I tried to go recently to see upcoming dailies and the site could not even find our CC. I've been on there in the past and it automatically showed all the guys in our CC plus the calendar of events. Just wondering.

Thanks for the putting tips guys. I am sooo close to putting everything together and am sitting at work thinking about my next round lol

One thing I was wondering though. This could just be me but I swear when I switch clubs they each perform differently regardless of the ratings.
Meaning I could use a 85 accuracy driver and be hitting it great after a while.. then switch drivers with the same accuracy but maybe more power and I spray the ball everywhere until I get it all dialed in again.
Is that just my head or is anyone else seeing that?
                        Probably my head.

Oh and since I haven't been on the TW bandwagaon in a awhile I never realized Titleist wasn't in the game. I was waiting to unlock the ProV1's lol

Sky, I'm right there with ya man. First TW game I've played since 2001. Currently, you and I are proudly battling for last place in the weekly. Although, you have posted your 4 rounds, and I have one to go. If my first 3 rounds are any indication.... I will steal last place from ya.

I've got to start hitting better shot onto the greens. Football field length putts are just not going to cut it. Got to work on my short game a little also.

With all that said.... I'm having a blast with the game and being in the CC.

Just finished the daily today -4 and apparently there is are polarizing magnets on the green, one in the cup and the other at the core of my ball. Every birdie and eagle putt burned the lip, every...single...one. There really needs to be a button for the putter throw...

I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!
