I struggled like crazy last night. Was never consistent with my draw swing. Kept missing fairways and greens. I scrambled around pretty well and shot a decent score. I obviously was kinda ticked off about that, but then as I started reading everybody talking about their rounds today I realized that is like normal golf. You don't have your "A" game everytime you go out. Maybe Kodiak and Bigbabybrother do, but I can have one great round and then a below average round right after it. Trying to swing that stick gets in your head after you mis hit a few shots and don't know why, lol. Just like it happens to me on the real course. Those guys that shot 13 & 14 under on the first round of the weekly must have just been lights out. I left a few strokes out there, but good grief. Admittedly Sawgrass is not the toughest course on tour, but to shoot that score with the Tournament condition greens is pretty awesome. Hats off.

I was a little freaked out last night during yesterday's daily, I thought I had unlocked some secret, hidden commentary. Then the language got a little colorful and realized a couple other members had tee'd off. I guess I've never been playing when others were playing and actually talking, I thought you had to have a headset on to here anyone.
Lord Have Mercy made one comment that is very true, "all the top guys are power golfers who stick there approach shots within 15 feet." He's dead on IMO. My scores didn't start lowering until I switched from a control golfer to a power golfer.
If you have your accuracy skill at 80 or above, I don't think you'll have as much trouble as you think. It took me a few rounds after switching to get things dial in but, with a power golfer you can still hit almost every par 4 in 2, even from the rough. That was the big difference. As a control golfer, if I missed the fairway with my tee shot I was almost guaranteed a bogey because I could not hit a lot of greens from the rough. Turning those into pars as a power golfer lower my score drastically.
When I got my golfer level to around 85 I toyed around with "Power" in my offline career. I will say that it truly is a higher risk/reward thing but man... there is nothing like the feeling of finally reaching a par 5 in two and at least having a punchers chance at an eagle. I shot my first CC daily last night as a power golfer and posted my best CC round ever. Don't be afraid to get on the juice! LOL.__________________________________________________ ____

That 13th green in round 3 of sawgrass is such bs. I went into it -9 for the tournament. I left even for the tournament. I recorded a 10 because if you are short, the ball comes all the way down the green. Before that I was having two of the best rounds ever and all that went out the window. I had top 5 in my head and now its dashed.GO 'HAWKS!

It was scary as hell for me. After lvl 85 (basically got my power, accuracy and putting to 85) I moved to power in my offline career and started shooting 2-3 practice rounds on the same course the daily or four round tourney was on... and I would put the pin placements on hard or expert to try and match up with Bighoff's Jimmy Hoffa placement of pins LOL__________________________________________________ ____

Re: Xbox 360 OS Bushwood CC (TW14)
I've been a power golfer the entire time. There are still wild mi****s, but overall, I am usually around the fairway. I think you get used to it. There are times I still aim to miss the fairway when I know there is a big number possible on the other side. And since I am pretty good at hitting my hybrid out of the rough, this does not bother me.
I am also learning to not attack every pin. Middle of the green is just fine. Every once in a great while the putts go in too./bdComment

My usual group of guys I golf online with can attest that I don't always have my A game. I usually have 1 maybe 2 nights a week where I'm just a little off.
For me, I've gotten pretty automatic for any putt 12 feet and under so I don't shoot at the pin per se, but try to get it into that 4-5 yard radius around hole. That doesn't always happen but I've gotten to where I don't mind long putts anymore.S.O.S Crew

Re: Xbox 360 OS Bushwood CC (TW14)
Tonight's daily is fine example of how I don't always play super well. I don't think anyone will every single round.
I had a couple of Bogeys and a couple Birdies on the front. Started the back Even. On the 10th I made Triple Bogey. That was a true face palm situation. Luckily, I was able to string together a few Birdies in the middle of the back to salvage the round.
What kodiak said applies to me, but to a lesser extent. I had pretty good success reading and making putts within 10 feet. 10-15 feet is okay, but less will fall. Anything outside of that is a bonus if it drops, but I finish most everything close to the hole after my first putt, so there aren't many three putts. I don't mind making par when I don't stick it close to the hole, so above all else, I do everything I can to avoid a three putt.Xbox Live Gamertag: BigBabyBrother

Well it clicked back again...
Think maybe I just play better with a group... That's my excuse anyways.Joshua:

You know you might be on to something there. Last night me and RGMoney were shooting at the same time (intentionally) and on our headsets. We both shot our best daily rounds so far in the CC.__________________________________________________ ____
